Luo Po Valley

Narration calls it a maze of winding paths, with bewilderment fog that loosens the soul and Luo Po wind that cuts the soul. ^{ch. 411}

Deviation (recorded): this page uses the Central Continent region field because Wisdom Gu’s Ren Zu telling is narrated while Fang Yuan is inside Hu Immortal Blessed Land. Luo Po Valley is named without a five-region map seat.

After passing Dang Hun Mountain, Ren Zu reaches Luo Po Valley. With guts Gu strengthening him, his soul still loosens and is cut; faith Gu then lights his path, and he leaves with only the essence of his soul. When he later pauses in Reverse Flow River, the river washes him back into the depths of Luo Po Valley. ^{ch. 411}

Fang Yuan notes he lacks Luo Po Valley, where bewilderment fog loosens the soul and Luo Po wind cuts it, so that after torture the soul becomes more refined and condensed. Narration states that Spectral Soul Demon Venerable once said Dang Hun Mountain is best for strengthening the soul and Luo Po Valley best for refining it, and that the mountain and valley became the two sacred lands of soul path Gu Masters. ^{ch. 422}

Reading a space thought from a Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable inheritance, Fang Yuan realizes that inheritance leads to Luo Po Valley. ^{ch. 507} Deep inside the valley, Feng Jiu Ge names the hidden place a Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable true inheritance. ^{ch. 923}

Narration places Luo Po Valley in a secluded area of Northern Plains while a large battle is ongoing. Shadow Sect members who abandoned Lang Ya Blessed Land defend it, and the valley has been in Shadow Sect’s possession for a long time with a powerful defensive Gu formation. Central Continent Gu Immortals from the ten great ancient sects find its location through Old Oracle’s deduction and try to invade while Shadow Sect holds the base. ^{ch. 886}

After Fang Yuan places Luo Po Valley down, Fairy Li Shan says Fang Yuan has Dang Hun Mountain, she has Miniscule Mountain, and Hei Lou Lan has Luo Po Valley, and that they possess three secluded domains of heaven and earth. ^{ch. 953}

After Tai Bai Yun Sheng repairs it, Fang Yuan cultivates inside Luo Po Valley himself and confirms it is indeed the soul cultivation sacred land on par with Dang Hun Mountain. ^{ch. 961}

Recalling his previous life’s timeline, Fang Yuan notes that after the new agreement forced on him by Blazing Heaven Demoness and the others, he went on to seize Luo Po Valley before the battle of Yi Tian Mountain. ^{ch. 973}

Luo Po Valley has been remodelled into a secret stronghold by Shadow Sect, with large numbers of Gu formations arranged everywhere, which Fang Yuan knows because in his previous life Hei Cheng’s soul ended up in Hei Lou Lan’s hands and much of what her soul search obtained was shared with him. Even in that previous life, when Feng Jiu Ge and the other Central Continent Gu Immortals attacked the valley while nobody was there, those Gu formations held them off until Qin Bai Sheng and the rest arrived. It is now filled with Shadow Sect members and more terrifying than a dragon’s den, so however much Fang Yuan wants it beside Dang Hun Mountain, he judges it is not yet the time to go. ^{ch. 978}

Fang Yuan reaches the deepest part of Luo Po Valley past the guard of Hui Feng Zi, who has surrendered to Central Continent and does not know Fang Yuan is already inside. As Fang Yuan activates Immortal Gu Pulling Mountain to take the valley, Star Constellation Immortal Venerable’s song sounds in his ears again and a wave of information strikes him, leaving him shocked that Luo Po Valley holds a Thieving Heaven true inheritance at all. ^{ch. 990}

Imitating Ren Zu, Fang Yuan walks into Luo Po Valley and lets his soul leave his body, and the soul is shrouded by the bewilderment fog, then cut again and again by the Luo Po wind, in pain countless times worse than death by dismemberment, until it reaches its limit and returns to the immortal zombie body whose protection lets him leave. Healing afterward on Dang Hun Mountain with guts Gu, he finds his soul’s impurities refined out by the ordeal: Luo Po Valley refines the soul while Dang Hun Mountain strengthens it, the qualitative and quantitative halves of one advance. In that same thought he places Hei Lou Lan and Fairy Li Shan’s possession of Luo Po Valley, and their moving back and forth between it and Dang Hun Mountain to strengthen their soul foundation, in his previous life. ^{ch. 997}

Dang Hun Mountain and Luo Po Valley were once used by Spectral Soul Demon Venerable himself to cultivate; by this point Luo Po Valley sits inside Star Form blessed land. ^{ch. 1025}

Fang Yuan contacts Star Form blessed land and has Luo Po Valley sent onward into Lang Ya blessed land, alongside Dang Hun Mountain. ^{ch. 1028}

Fang Yuan enters Luo Po Valley every day to temper his soul, afterward using guts Gu to heal and strengthen it. ^{ch. 1084}

Speakers cite The Legends of Ren Zu: Dang Hun Mountain, Luo Po Valley, and Reverse Flow River are the three obstacles inside the Door of Life and Death. Mu Ling Lan states that Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable once relied on ghostly concealment to enter the Door of Life and Death and moved Dang Hun Mountain and Luo Po Valley out, but could not take Reverse Flow River. ^{ch. 1252}

Many Central Continent Gu Immortals die in battle inside Luo Po Valley, and their immortal apertures become blessed lands in Northern Plains, but because they drew on another region’s heaven and earth qi, those blessed lands’ foundations and resources are greatly damaged. ^{ch. 1367}

Fang Yuan brings Luo Po Valley with him on this trip to Western Desert; even the soul-refining touch of the Thieving Heaven dream realm’s corrosion is far inferior to it. ^{ch. 1495}
