Triple Layered Sword Wave is Fang Yuan's sword path immortal killer move. It takes heavy concentration and time to activate, and uses wave sword Immortal Gu.
During an earthly calamity, Fang Yuan turns to his third sword path killer move when snow monsters escalate beyond what he can finish quickly. Activation takes far more concentration and time than sword marks targeting death: he must drive more than five hundred mortal Gu at once, then still more as the cast continues, and he finally brings out wave sword Immortal Gu. ch. 1055
Activation
Against an ancient ruin bat, with rank seven wave sword Immortal Gu as the core and water path Immortal Gu borrowed from Lang Ya land spirit, three silvery white sword waves rise against gravity, split in the air, and crash with sharp area offense that can wipe blizzard and shatter air; each wave grows stronger than the last. After two layers leave deep sword marks, the third wave stands about ten meters tall, hits the same wounds, and pierces through the bat’s back as its space path pressure lifts. ch. 1056 Consecutive casts overwork his thoughts until his seven orifices spurt blood and he nearly faints. ch. 1057
Lang Ya support
When he sells Luo Po Valley to Lang Ya land spirit, part of the return is a large borrow of mortal Gu and Immortal Gu needed to form immortal tribulation tempering aperture and triple layered sword wave, and both prove extremely helpful in that tribulation. ch. 1063
Snow monster fighting
Later, a cast of three waves kills thousands of ordinary snow monsters and six desolate beast snow monsters, while ordinary snow monsters cost little of the waves and desolate beasts spend them down hard. The Immortal Gu set includes not only Wave Sword but also water path Immortal Gu borrowed from Lang Ya, so each use burns green grape immortal essence and Lang Ya Sect contribution points. ch. 1091 Either one alone, this move or strength path giant hand, hits with the battle strength of a rank seven Gu Immortal. ch. 1097 After later modification work, Fang Yuan notes that among five finished sword path killer moves, triple layered sword wave is the one that originates from Lang Ya Sect. ch. 1468
