Regions

The Gu World is divided into five regions. East is a huge sea with islands like chess pieces, the Eastern Sea; west a huge desert of yellow sand, the Western Desert; north a huge grassland, the Northern Plains; south mountainous terrain, the Southern Border; and between those four the central area, the Central Continent. ^{ch. 334}

A Gu Master who has just crossed into another region does not fight at full rank: battle strength is suppressed by one. ^{ch. 426}
