Lang Ya Sect

After that later battle, the land spirit invites Fang Yuan to be an external supreme elder. Fang Yuan agrees. Speaking about remuneration for joining that battle, he seeks a request for reinforcements from Lang Ya land spirit, rather than the rank six Immortal Gu recipe of all-out effort Gu. The land spirit then hands him a sect mission and says that enough contribution points can be exchanged for Immortal Gu recipes. He also states that the hairy man Gu Immortals are true members, and that this first mission is given to Fang Yuan because it is the most dangerous. Fang Yuan’s aim is to extract benefits from the land spirit, not to back a hairy man era. ^{ch. 980} The land spirit later trades Fang Yuan an earth path refinement killer move, and in payment Fang Yuan deduces an Immortal Gu recipe for the land spirit, completing thirty percent of it. ^{ch. 988}

The land spirit promises Fang Yuan the rank of second supreme elder and at least two rank seven Immortal Gu if he obtains the Thieving Heaven true inheritance divine concealment and contributes it to the sect, then adds countless Immortal Gu recipes, immortal killer moves, ancient secrets and inheritance clues to the offer. ^{ch. 992}

Fang Yuan lends the sect Dang Hun Mountain, Luo Po valley and wisdom Gu for its use, with the sect liable for tenfold compensation if anything happens to them plus additional sect contribution points, and the land spirit, who turns out to know how to use wisdom Gu, will part with that method only for contribution points. ^{ch. 1029}

When Lang Ya land spirit announces that Fang Yuan will act only if a group of hairy man Gu Immortals fails against a falling star hound first, the announcement sets off a commotion in Lang Ya Sect, and the hairy man Gu Immortals show open animosity toward him. ^{ch. 1134}

Cornered by variant human Gu Immortals, Fang Yuan identifies himself as one of Lang Ya Sect’s supreme elders, tracing Lang Ya blessed land’s origin to Long Hair Ancestor and the sect’s creation to Lang Ya land spirit’s lead. ^{ch. 1142}

After Fang Yuan resolves the falling star hound affair and is known to hold an immemorial upper extreme heavenly eagle, the sect’s hairy man Gu Immortals’ attitude toward him changes completely, becoming reverential in stark contrast to before. ^{ch. 1146}

When Chu Du founds a human Gu Immortal sect and calls it the first in Northern Plains, Fang Yuan treats Lang Ya Sect as the actual first sect in that region. ^{ch. 1181}

It primarily uses refinement path, and most of its hairy man Gu Immortals also cultivate transformation path. The land spirit wants it to become a large sect with Gu Immortals of many paths, on the scale of Northern Plains’ Huang Jin super tribes or Central Continent’s ten great ancient sects. Twelfth Hair took out an information path Gu worm; that Gu was Lang Ya Sect’s contribution list. ^{ch. 1199}

The sect cooperates with Fang Yuan in trading guts Gu produced from Dang Hun Mountain, holding a monopoly on the business with demand that always outpaces supply. ^{ch. 1324}

The sect and its land spirit are no longer difficult for Fang Yuan to deal with; sect contribution points alone now buy the land spirit’s personal Gu refinement, using the human isolation style at Fang Yuan’s request to keep heaven’s will from interfering. ^{ch. 1385}

As leader of Shadow Sect, Fang Yuan exchanges a portion of Purple Mountain True Monarch’s inheritance for a vast sum of sect contribution points, then spends them to put the whole of Lang Ya Sect to work refining Gu for him. ^{ch. 1424}

The sect lends Fang Yuan a number of refinement path Immortal Gu and mortal Gu for his Gu refinement formation, and it was in trade with Lang Ya Sect that he obtained the seven kill blood path Gu refinement method, exchanged using Shadow Sect’s inheritances. ^{ch. 1479}
