Gui Wang is a rank six soul path Gu Immortal in Northern Plains who trades lava bats to Loner Hong Yu and organizes a raid on Lang Ya blessed land.

Dark clouds stop over an unnamed hill as Loner Hong Yu greets him, and Gui Wang descends with greenish-black bat wings, messy hair, a high forehead, deep eye sockets, tightly shut eyes, and ears as large as half his brain, speaking in a coarse voice that gives people goosebumps. He hands over three million five hundred thousand lava bats; acceptance seals Hong Yu’s agreement to barge into Lang Ya blessed land a month later, and Gui Wang says he has also asked the Hua Hai three immortals to help. Fifty years after rising to Gu Immortal, he still has no Immortal Gu and is forced to use rank five Gu worms only. ch. 446

Appearance

He is extremely ugly. He has messy hair, a high forehead, deep eye sockets, tightly shut eyes, and ears as large as half his brain. A large pair of greenish-black bat wings appears behind his back. His voice is coarse and unpleasant. His eyes stay closed without blocking his sight. ch. 446

Immortal Gu trail

Over poison grassland he senses a man-made Immortal Gu aura with no Gu Immortal aura, harvests ghost face sunflowers with nether ghost claw, and clears shadow crows and earth spike rats with hundred ghost night travel Gu and ghost face Gu while black light on his body turns aside earth spikes. The trail thins as he follows it; he swears the Immortal Gu will be his dead or alive. ch. 446

Snow spirea dead end

At a snow spirea the aura ends with no Immortal Gu found. He prefers to blame Lady Poison Scorpion rather than accept that the Gu died, then leaves rather than face her rank seven Zi Du blessed land, never guessing Fang Yuan sealed and buried Fixed Immortal Travel along the path. ch. 448

Lang Ya raid

He brings Loner Hong Yu and the Hua Hai three immortals to crescent lake, claims personal investigation of Lang Ya’s site and timing, and waits for the earthly calamity before striking. ch. 459 Righteous path Hua Hai three immortals collaborate with him and Loner Hong Yu as demonic path Gu Immortals for Immortal Gu recipes. He argues the strong earthly calamity proves rich recipes, pushes the group to burn green grape immortal essence into the holes, enters first on blue-black bat wings, and races for the cloud buildings shouting that everything is his. ch. 460 The land spirit had shown weakness to capture the five, who hold no Immortal Gu; they submit after confinement of their rank five Gu and later appear as captives when Fang Yuan requests stargate Gu refinement. ch. 464

Fang Yuan’s previous life memories state that a soul path Gu Immortal called Gui Wang accidentally discovers Lang Ya blessed land, leads the first wave of attacks, is captured by the land spirit, and leaks the news so later waves follow. ch. 463
