Appearance
Uncountable poisonous grass grows on the land, with many large poisonous swamps and marshes. Dense toxic gas released from the entrance forms purple poison fog over the surrounding grassland; after long cycles, dark clouds cover the surroundings all year and purple fog lingers, creating a world devoid of light around the land at the center of the poisonous grassland. ch. 433
Poisonous beings on Zi Du blessed land accumulate toxins until even the blessed land cannot endure them. Every few years the entrance opens to release that dense toxic gas. Most of that gas forms purple poison fog over the surrounding grassland, and creatures at the lowest rung sneak out at the same time, including large numbers of poison beard wolves. After that long cycle, dark clouds cover the area all year and mortals name the forbidden zone the poisonous grassland. Narration names the owner as rank seven Gu Immortal Zi Yan Ran, titled Lady Poison Scorpion, and places Fang Yuan nearby while he seeks snow spirea. ch. 433
Gui Wang’s refusal
Gui Wang guesses that at the center of the poison grass land is Zi Du blessed land, where rank seven Gu Immortal Lady Poison Scorpion lives, and that she may have taken the Immortal Gu into her aperture. He can gather the Hua Hai three immortals and Loner Hong Yu to attack Lang Ya Blessed Land for promised benefits, but lacks bargaining chips to make them attack Zi Du blessed land as well. Seeing that Zi Du blessed land is about to open its doors and expel poisonous gas, he leaves rather than face her. ch. 448
Dream Travel memory
Fang Yuan recalls that Dream Travel was in the hands of the Northern Plains Gu Immortal Lady Poison Scorpion, who lay dormant in Zi Du blessed land, and that she was the first Gu Immortal who used Dream Travel to explore dream realms. He ranks her battle strength above Hei Cheng and calls the defense of her blessed land like an iron fortress. ch. 734
