Loner Hong Yu

At crescent lake he asks whether Lang Ya blessed land is hidden there while Gui Wang waits for the earthly calamity. He again stands as a rank six Gu Immortal with youthful look, round face, and fair appearance beside Gui Wang. ^{ch. 459} He waits with Gui Wang apart from the Hua Hai three immortals. Those righteous path sisters hold him in contempt for killing his own parents to refine a Gu and for betraying his brothers, yet still collaborate for Immortal Gu recipes. He watches Endless Thunder and Lightning Rain open holes, supports pressing the assault, and later turns into a red light to race Gui Wang into the blessed land, then approaches a cloud building among the twelve. ^{ch. 460}

Inside, he stands with Gui Wang among captives when Lang Ya land spirit bargains with Fang Yuan, and both look at Fairy Huang Sha with burning gazes when the land spirit offers her as a plaything; Fang Yuan refuses that use. ^{ch. 464} He and Gui Wang are disappointed when Fang Yuan declines. ^{ch. 465}

Fang Yuan later sees him among familiar faces in Lang Ya’s coffins with the Hua Hai three immortals and Gui Wang. ^{ch. 744} At the open transaction Qin Bai Sheng presents him as a rank six fire path Gu Immortal captive at one heavenly tribulation, shows his immortal aperture, and notes fire path demand for that aperture. He eventually goes into Five Elements Grandmaster’s hands because that buyer cultivates all five paths and can use the aperture. ^{ch. 762}
