Gu Recipe

A Gu recipe is the recorded method for refining a Gu. Immortal Gu recipes are rare trade goods, and many circulating copies are only remnant recipes.

Fang Yuan at that time knows only about a dozen Immortal Gu recipes, most of them remnant, with only two intact and correct ones he will not freely expose.^{ch. 463}

Refinement path has long been closely connected to wisdom path. To comprehend the world and deduce Gu refinement recipes, Gu Masters use many wisdom path methods. Refinement masters and grandmasters often seek wisdom path help when a recipe bottlenecks.^{ch. 490}

Trade value

When the same Gu recipe is sold multiple times in treasure yellow heaven and more Gu Immortals obtain it, its treasure light decreases, so repeated sales are a poor long-term income source.^{ch. 508}

Will cost of deduction

Under the light of wisdom, Fang Yuan spends large amounts of will to push an Immortal Gu remnant recipe toward completion, and even a strong will intake may move that deduction only a small fraction.^{ch. 655}
