Hei Fan grotto-heaven

Hei Fan grotto-heaven has no tribulations, and Hei Cheng’s memories say Hei Fan obtained a fragment of the immemorial nine heavens before his death. Fang Yuan judges that he must have fused that fragment into his immortal aperture before dying. The upper extreme heavenly eagle had gone there before and is the key to entering. ^{ch. 1117}

The grotto-heaven is huge and vast. Below the entrant stretches an ancient forest of musical trees with rainbow colored leaves, birds including qi death birds covered in qi currents, and a pale green steaming tea stream between the trees. The sky is azure, and Fang Yuan takes it as an initial confirmation of where he is, judging that Hei Fan fused a fragment of immemorial azure heaven into the grotto-heaven so the sky never changed color again. In the north-east stands a tall mountain the locals name Wang Gu Mountain, with a cave inside. ^{ch. 1119}

The upper extreme heavenly eagle tears space and brings Fang Yuan into Hei Fan grotto-heaven from Northern Plains’ sky. A brass bell and ringing mark the heavenly spirit’s presence after he surveys the musical tree forest and azure sky. The brass bell stays silent and unmoving when he speaks to it, because a grotto-heaven that has absorbed a fragment of the immemorial nine heavens leaves its heavenly spirit without control and mindless. That same absorption lets heaven’s will in and puts the grotto-heaven world under heaven’s will’s supervision, so the place is not safe for Fang Yuan. ^{ch. 1119}

When Fang Yuan inherits Hei Fan’s true inheritance he becomes the grotto-heaven’s owner and can command the brass bell heavenly spirit, though the mindless spirit is hard for him to manipulate or communicate with, worse than Hu Immortal land spirit. ^{ch. 1132} He ransacks Immortal Succession Mountain and keeps the inheritances still in its mostly emptied stone pavilions, most of them mortal, three of them Gu Immortal inheritances, two holding only Immortal Gu recipes and the last holding the bone path offensive Immortal Gu Bone Spike. He had killed every Gu Immortal in the grotto-heaven that day and kept their souls, and soul searching those locals maps the place for him apart from a few areas of ancient desolate beasts and plants and some forbidden grounds. Because the absorbed fragment lets heaven’s will look inside, he decides to move every resource out into his own immortal aperture and hand the grotto-heaven itself to Chu Du, its value alone being thirty percent of the Hei Fan true inheritance’s. ^{ch. 1132} In half a month Fang Yuan strips the grotto-heaven bare, digging up even the grasslands and moving the rivers and pools into his own immortal aperture, before handing the emptied grotto-heaven to Chu Du. Even the emptied Immortal Succession Mountain is moved out with the rest of the grotto-heaven’s contents. The brass bell heavenly spirit refuses the handover because Chu Du does not carry Hei tribe’s bloodline, so Fang Yuan destroys the defenseless spirit with one hit. ^{ch. 1133}
