Heavenly Court's Pursuit

After Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord’s death, Fairy Zi Wei is tasked to lead Heavenly Court temporarily. Rank-eight Gu Immortals otherwise hold equal status and discuss matters together unless an Immortal Venerable leads them. ^{ch. 1069}

The few times Fairy Zi Wei took action, she drove Ying Wu Xie and the others into despair; without Fang Yuan, Ying Wu Xie would already be dead. She leads multiple Heavenly Court rank-eight Gu Immortals to the site after Ying Wu Xie and three others flee by the ancient battle formation Omni-directional Travel. She had deduced Fang Yuan there earlier, finds the trail changed, and still orders Shadow Sect killed, but stops short of chasing into the regional wall. ^{ch. 1090}

In Northern Plains the upper extreme heavenly eagle carries Fang Yuan into Hei Fan grotto-heaven, leaving the plains sky behind. ^{ch. 1119} On Immortal Succession Mountain he finally sees Hei Fan’s true inheritance and still asks how to obtain it. ^{ch. 1121} He later obtains the true inheritance. ^{ch. 1128} He takes over the grotto-heaven. ^{ch. 1132} Chu Du and Heavenly Lord Bai Zu then contest it. ^{ch. 1177} The contest ends when Chu Du allies with Bai Zu and cedes a portion of the grotto-heaven rather than fighting to the finish. ^{ch. 1181} Fang Yuan then leaves Hei Fan grotto-heaven, which closes this range. ^{ch. 1182}
