Chapter 1073

Treasure yellow heaven began three hundred thousand years ago when a rank eight Immortal, Daoist Countless Treasures, fused a chance fragment of immemorial yellow heaven into his grotto-heaven, trapping himself inside in exchange for facing no further tribulations. He left no successor. Even Immortal Venerables and Demon Venerables have never found its exact location, a huge mystery unsolved to this day. Of the immemorial nine heavens, only white and black remain, since yellow heaven shattered long ago into fragments now nearly impossible to find outside immense luck. ^{ch. 1073}

Shang clan’s Gu Immortals are shocked that the five regions’ number one market, the biggest help to Gu Immortal cultivation for three hundred thousand years, has suddenly closed. They fear the Yi Tian Mountain bet they are after is stuck inside, and Shang clan’s first supreme elder denies that the heavenly spirit is stealing it, since no corruption has ever been recorded there. He recalls that history records a few such closures, always for the same reason: someone sells the heavenly spirit a fragment of immemorial yellow heaven, and it closes the market to focus wholly on absorbing it. Yellow heaven fragments may be the only thing that can move treasure yellow heaven’s heavenly spirit, and Heavenly Court, extremely affluent, has thrown out one huge enough to force it to focus entirely on absorption. This blocks Ying Wu Xie’s last way out: without treasure yellow heaven he cannot sell his Immortal Gu or buy materials to refine Gu, and Iron Crown Eagle Strength is stuck inside the closed market, which will not reopen quickly. Treasure yellow heaven has never taken a side, and with the five regional walls Heavenly Court’s control barely reaches beyond Central Continent, so an open demand to refuse Ying Wu Xie’s trades would have been ignored. Heavenly Court has paid a huge price to eliminate him, showing its firm determination. He tests whether a spare zombie body, one of many obtained from Blazing Heaven Demoness and recovered from Lang Ya land spirit after Yi Tian Mountain, can draw wisdom Gu’s light. It cannot. Wisdom Gu seems to answer only to Fang Yuan whole, body and soul together, as he already learned once in Hu Immortal blessed land. He never refined wisdom Gu, and only won its agreement back then because of the winds of assimilation. Reclaiming his original body would work, but is impractical now. His stock of precious immortal materials, drawn from Earth Trench, Falling Heavenly River and greatly from Bo Qing’s awakening, is too valuable to use for now. ^{ch. 1073}

Fang Yuan’s current body, created from sovereign immortal fetus Gu, carries no bloodline of its own. He still means to refine Fang Zheng into a blood deity to counter it.
