One of the immemorial nine heavens. It is destroyed among the seven fallen heavens, and is distinct from the later trading grotto-heaven treasure yellow heaven.
Appearance
No chapter paints yellow heaven’s landscape as a place entered. It is named as one sky level among the immemorial nine. ch. 371 ch. 389
In The Legends of Ren Zu, the sky of the immemorial antiquity era had nine levels: white heaven, red heaven, orange heaven, yellow heaven, green heaven, azure heaven, blue heaven, purple heaven, and black heaven. ch. 371
At present, red, orange, yellow, green, azure, blue, and purple heavens are no more, and only white heaven and black heaven remain. ch. 389
Relation to treasure yellow heaven
The immemorial nine heavens include yellow heaven among white, red, orange, green, azure, blue, purple, and black. When Ren Zu’s son caused havoc in heaven and earth, red, orange, yellow, green, azure, blue, and purple heavens were destroyed consecutively, leaving white and black heavens alternating between day and night. Treasure yellow heaven is closely related to yellow heaven among those nine, but it is not yellow heaven itself: in the Medieval Antiquity Era, Daoist Countless Treasures acquired a fragment of yellow heaven by chance, fused it into his grotto-heaven, and formed treasure yellow heaven. ch. 466
