Yi Tian Mountain

Before it takes that name, the peak is tall and beautiful after rain, with lush trees and deep valleys, a rainbow above, and life brimming with vitality. ^{ch. 971} After later Gu Immortal battle it is a dead battlefield marked by battle traces, with no sign of life left when daylight returns. ^{ch. 1922}

The name first surfaces in Fang Yuan’s earlier-life memory: Ding Hao dies in the righteous and demonic battle on Yi Tian mountain after taking Second Zombie King’s place. ^{ch. 255} Later memory adds that Second Zombie King himself joins the mountain and is besieged by the righteous path there. ^{ch. 256}

Xiao Shan of the demonic path founds a village there with sworn brothers and declares both names: Yi Tian Village for the settlement and Yi Tian Mountain for the peak. Fang Yuan recognizes the mountain as the one that hid the Immortal Gu House Graceful Chaotic Duel Stage and a suppressed rank eight Great Strength True Martial immortal zombie. ^{ch. 963} Demonic path Gu Masters and lone cultivators then flock to Yi Tian Village, while Southern Border Gu Immortals run a gambling contest that uses mortal pawns in the righteous and demonic battle on the mountain to refine battle will inside that Immortal Gu House. ^{ch. 964} Wu clan, called the super force closest to Yi Tian Mountain, sends the first major righteous attack after the village is created. ^{ch. 965} A forbidden zone for immortals covers thousands of li around the mountain, and a Gu Immortal who enters faces huge suppression, with his life in danger if he goes deep. Immortal Gu can still be used inside the zone, but their power is greatly reduced. ^{ch. 965} The mountain’s forbidden zone targets only immortal apertures, not Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 998}

In a later return, before those names hold again, Fang Yuan quietly approaches the peak. He is familiar with the surrounding ten thousand li of the mountain from his earlier-life gambling contest there. ^{ch. 971}

When Fang Yuan raises Graceful Chaotic Duel Stage, Yi Tian Mountain crumbles at once, and the house shoots skyward with him inside. Shadow Sect has already arranged the ten extreme immortal zombie lifeless formation over a ten thousand li span around the mountain, trapping Southern Border Gu Immortals under waves of tribulations while contesting the Immortal Gu House. ^{ch. 1003} By the time Graceful Chaotic Duel Stage crashes back toward the peak, the mountain is already a ruin, and the demonic path Gu Masters on it are dead or heavily injured. ^{ch. 1004}

Shadow Sect fields seven Immortal Gu Houses named on the field: Sacred Feather City, Unbreakable Iron Fortress, Blood River Chariot, Nightmare Castle, Green Wave Pavilion, Weaving Cocoon Manor, and Golden Altar. ^{ch. 1004} Heavenly Court answers with Heaven Overseeing Tower, then Embroidered Tower when dream path methods stall the tower lord. ^{ch. 1010} Ying Wu Xie, with the Pure Dream Reality Seeker Physique, uses the rank eight killer move lead soul into dream to put Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord into a dream realm, forcing other Heavenly Court immortals to take the tower. ^{ch. 1009} Replacements who take the tower then fall into dream realms when targeted the same way. Spectral Soul’s ghostly hand rises from life and death blessed land, is sewn to the ground by Embroidered Tower, then a sea of black water surges out of the Door of Life and Death and rises into a monster whose hands smash Embroidered Tower and grip Heaven Overseeing Tower. ^{ch. 1010}

During the battle, three Southern Border Gu Immortals confront Hei Lou Lan and Tai Bai Yun Sheng as they flee the mountain, investigating because the Gu Immortal experts their own clans had sent to Yi Tian Mountain had lost all traces of communication. ^{ch. 1014}

Ying Wu Xie’s body reaches the end of its eighteen-hour lifespan and self-detonates into an external dream realm. The realm expands until it stretches a thousand li and covers the whole Yi Tian battlefield, burying the life and death blessed land and whatever immortal apertures the battlefield may still hold. ^{ch. 1023} Spectral Soul’s main body has already fallen deep into that dream realm. ^{ch. 1027}

After the battle of Yi Tian Mountain, Shang Yan Fei is dead and Shang Xin Ci becomes Shang clan’s new leader. Guests at Shang clan’s succession ceremony call the peak one of Southern Border’s greatest mysteries. Shang clan Gu Immortals instead discuss the mountain under the giant dream realm: righteous path forces join to blockade it for research and keep demonic path and lone immortals out. ^{ch. 1072} Later, Southern Border righteous path super forces finish a super Gu formation around the multicolored giant dream realm so they can control it jointly and keep outsiders from claiming its benefits. ^{ch. 1111}

Fang Yuan returns near the defensive Gu formation around the dream realm, overhears a Luo clan deal that smuggles a lone cultivator inside for an “immortal opportunity,” and follows the trade into Lady White Rabbit’s dream realm business outside the seal. He notes that the righteous path encircled the gigantic dream realm after the battle destroyed the immortals involved, while Shadow Sect, Heavenly Court, and he himself keep quiet about what happened. ^{ch. 1213}

Under his Wu Yi Hai identity, Fang Yuan is dispatched to take command of the super Gu formation sealing the dream realm at Yi Tian Mountain in place of an injured Elder Wu Bei, with orders that let him travel straight to the mountain without returning to Wu clan first. ^{ch. 1321}

When Southern Border’s rank eight strength is drawn into Central Continent, Fang Yuan returns and refines Chi Qu You’s formation using information gained through earlier secret dream realm transactions with him, then takes all of the dream realms. ^{ch. 1922}
