Divine Doctor Sheng Shou

A later roster names the four as killer ghost doctor Chou Jiu, doctor Su Shou, travelling doctor Jiu Zhi, and divine doctor Sheng Shou. ^{ch. 375}

Fang Yuan groups the four great doctors’ peculiarities and notes that Divine Doctor Sheng Shou is a male who likes other males. ^{ch. 385} Wu Shen Tong goes to him after Long Qing Tian’s jade sky Gu poison. Divine Doctor Sheng Shou touches his chest, says he came too late, that the poison has seeped into bone marrow, that life and cultivation can be preserved, that the poison cannot be removed, and that regular detox visits will be needed. ^{ch. 386}

At that war he supports the righteous path: with his healing, righteous path Gu Masters take fewer losses and recover injuries quickly enough to fight hard. Xiao Shan uses a surface attack as a diversion while sending Lu Zuan Feng to sneak in and kill him; the attempt fails, and Shang Fu Xi ambushes and kills Second Zombie King instead. Chou Jiu’s arrival then suppresses him until Shang clan sends Doctor Su Shou, and the two together close the gap Chou Jiu opened. ^{ch. 966}
