Second Zombie King is the name a demonic Gu Master leaves on a Mu Bei mountain inheritance stone slab that points a fated inheritor toward Zhao Ze mountain.
Ding Hao reaches a final secret chamber and reads a stone slab inscription in which that demonic Gu Master professes himself as the Second Zombie King. The inscription says that if a fated individual wishes, they can go to Zhao Ze mountain to be an official disciple and follow him to roam the Southern Border. ch. 254
As the final test he requires the inheritor to kill a thousand people and raise a large zombie army, with detailed standards for white-hair, black-hair, and green-hair zombies, and says one blue-hair zombie alone would suffice. Narration also says he had been a servant, a background that resonates with Ding Hao. ch. 254
Previous life memory
Fang Yuan remembers that Second Zombie King left behind an inheritance after exterminating the clan on Mu Bei mountain, that Ding Hao inherited it and later became Second Zombie King’s eldest disciple, stayed loyal on the demonic path, and chose to die in Second Zombie King’s place at Yi Tian mountain. ch. 255
Disciples and zombie armies
Fang Yuan claims to Ding Hao that he is Second Zombie King’s eldest disciple Hei Tu, and privately recalls that Second Zombie King had not left behind only one inheritance and had taken in seven to eight disciples in Fang Yuan’s previous life. Later Second Zombie King joined Yi Tian mountain and was besieged by the righteous path, while those disciples commanded great zombie armies and forced the righteous path allied army to retreat at one point. ch. 256
Trace risk after Ding Hao
Fang Yuan judges that as long as he carries the Gu worms from Ding Hao’s body, Second Zombie King could find him, and that feeding zombie heart Gu is inconvenient and might leave traces Shang clan could discover. ch. 257
Yi Tian mountain arrival
As Second Zombie King enters Yi Tian Mountain, enslavement path shows its might again and the righteous path falls back. Fang Yuan notes he arrived early and saved the demonic path’s position from worsening. Narration says he came from the Southern Border Zombie Alliance branch, was likely the pawn of a certain Southern Border immortal zombie, was a rank five peak stage Gu Master, and had once left his inheritance on Mu Bei Mountain, causing Ding Hao’s rise. Fang Yuan also recalls that in his previous life Ding Hao sacrificed himself to save Second Zombie King. His arrival brings the second righteous and demonic fight to an end. ch. 965
Death
On the demonic path’s side Second Zombie King summons many of his disciples, and their zombie army gives the righteous path a huge headache. Shang Fu Xi of the righteous path lays an ambush and kills Second Zombie King, after which the demonic path’s disadvantage quickly enlarges. ch. 966
