Ding Hao asks the disguised Fang Yuan to show zombie heart Gu as the unique characteristic of their master’s line. Fang Yuan has no zombie heart Gu at that moment. ch. 256
Appearance
It resembles a heart, has seven holes, and is stiff as stone. It is cold to the touch and seems to be made of bronze. ch. 256
Effect
Production follows the same mother-and-product pattern as Charred Thunder Potato Mother Gu and Charred Thunder Potato Gu. Fang Yuan holds the potato mother Gu in that stretch and still has none of the heart Gu. ch. 256
Feeding
Fang Yuan refuses Ding Hao’s demand to display it by saying he could not carry that Gu on a secret caravan mission without feeding it in full view of everyone. ch. 256
Carrying risk
Fang Yuan judges that carrying Gu worms from Ding Hao’s body would let Second Zombie King find him, and that feeding zombie heart Gu would be inconvenient and might leave traces Shang Clan could discover. ch. 257
