Ju Kai Bei is a rank four Gu Master whose fame on Shang clan city's battle stage rivals Fang Yuan and Bai Ning Bing during their battle zone stretch.

Fang Yuan treats him and Yan Tu as the only real threats left on the battle stage after Teng Jiu Long falls. ch. 305 At the auction, Wei Yang flags him as one of Fang Yuan’s greatest competitors for bitter strength Gu, beside Shang Bi Xi. He is rank four on the third inner city battle stage, rejects invitations from other forces, shares the title “half the sky of the battle stage” with Yan Tu, and vows not to leave until he defeats him. He is a genuine strength path Gu Master. In the auction house he appears in the prime of his life, eight feet tall and muscular, and sits in the front row after refusing young masters’ invitations. ch. 306

He is in the prime of his life and eight feet tall. His skin is tightly wrapped around his muscles, layers after layers. He is like a tower, tall and straight. ch. 306 On the battle stage he has a tower-like body and a steel-like expression, with a large body frame and even denser muscles. ch. 316

Battle stage control

He and Yan Tu are Shang Yan Fei’s secret pawn pieces. Shang clan promotes Gu Masters who dominate the battle stage to the level of Wei Yang into external clan elders, and Ju Kai Bei and Yan Tu are Shang Yan Fei’s way of controlling that stage. ch. 311

Battle stage challenge

He forcefully challenges Fang Yuan as an entrenched senior against a rising star. On stage he has a tower-like body and a steel-like expression, with rank four aura already pressing before the fight begins. He uses ivory armor Gu and habitual strength Gu that accumulates strength over time. ch. 316

Demonic past and Shang lot

He had thrown in his lot with Shang clan and become a hidden elder after leaving the demonic path life that had worn him down. ch. 317

Djinn transformation

His healing Gu is outstanding. Dragon guts Gu, dragon travel tiger steps Gu, and dragon-elephant Gu resonate and raise the chance of bringing out his dragon-elephant phantom. When he commits his killer move, he activates Djinn heart Gu, Djinn body Gu, and Djinn mind Gu. Body, heart, and mind combine as Djinn transformation: his physique enlarges threefold, and both strength and mental energy rise threefold, turning three dragon-elephant strength into nine. Ivory armor breaks from the size change until it regrows; he covers the gap with hard qi Gu. ch. 319

Stage surrender

After Djinn transformation, Fang Yuan’s eight solidified beast phantoms pummel him until he half kneels. Knowing Fang Yuan has strength qi Gu, he loses the will to fight and surrenders. ch. 320

City talk after the match

City talk says he used Djinn transformation and still sprawled on the ground until he admitted defeat. Talk also says he lost Djinn mind to Fang Zheng, and that among Djinn body, Djinn heart, and Djinn mind, Djinn mind is the hardest to obtain, so without it his killer move is incomplete. ch. 321

Yi Tian Mountain

At Yi Tian Mountain, Wu clan sends a second elder joined by Shang clan’s new elders Yan Tu and Ju Kai Bei. After Lan Mei He and Fei You Wang join Yi Tian Village, Yi Tian holds the upper hand and the righteous path is forced back. ch. 965

Second-wave deadlock

A later summary again places Shang clan’s newly advanced elders Yan Tu and Ju Kai Bei in Wu clan’s attack. Both sides fight at the mountain base with wins and losses and are in a deadlock before the same flying-master swing. ch. 1000
