Djinn Transformation

On the Shang clan city battle stage, Ju Kai Bei activates Djinn heart Gu, Djinn body Gu, and Djinn mind Gu together. Body, heart, and mind combine; essence, qi, and spirit merge, and a white aura surrounds him. ^{ch. 319}

Cost and duration

The move is built from three rank four Gu. Yellow gold primeval essence and mental energy both fall rapidly, and the threefold boost also multiplies consumption, so he cannot hold the form for long. Gu Masters spend mental energy to control Gu; the raised mental energy lets him fight without that sluggishness for a time. ^{ch. 319}

Strength and armor gap

Three dragon-elephant strength becomes nine dragon-elephant strength under the boost. If nine dragon-elephant phantoms burst out, Fang Yuan’s eight beast phantoms would be crushed. The size change breaks ivory armor that cannot stretch with him, leaving a brief defensive gap until the armor regrows. He covers that gap with Hard Qi Gu. Enlarged strides plus dragon travel tiger steps Gu make pursuit hard, and the move can crush the black stone forest terrain flat in his path. ^{ch. 319}

Battle stage reputation

Ju Kai Bei judges that even on that stage, only Yan Tu’s Fire Sea Twin Dragon Kill could stop a Djinn transformation assault. After Fang Yuan’s eight solidified phantoms thrash him, Ju Kai Bei can no longer close even under the move, and he surrenders. ^{ch. 320} Later city talk says he lost Djinn mind to Fang Zheng, and that among Djinn body, Djinn heart, and Djinn mind, Djinn mind is the hardest to obtain, so without it the killer move is incomplete. ^{ch. 321}
