Bai Yun

After the white feather flying elephant disaster, Shang Xin Ci finds Bai Ning Bing among the survivors and thanks Bai Yun for drawing a white feather flying elephant away. Bai Ning Bing answers that she returns kindness and that Zhang clan lady’s past kind actions saved her, then speaks in her normal female voice instead of the suppressed tone she had used. Shang Xin Ci also asks Bai Yun whether she saw Uncle Zhang Zhu. ^{ch. 248}

Fang Yuan tells Shang Xin Ci that Bai Yun and he are demonic path Gu Masters, vicious and merciless, and that they have taken lives. He says that before he leaves they will show up as Zhang Clan’s Gu Masters and asks her to clarify those identities. ^{ch. 250} Shang Xin Ci introduces them to caravan leaders as Zhang Clan’s hidden elders, Lord Hei Tu and Lord Bai Yun. Over twenty people bow and greet Lord Hei Tu and Lord Bai Yun. ^{ch. 252}

Xiao Die credits Lord Hei Tu and Bai Yun for helping the survivors reach Shang clan. Shang Yan Fei memorises the names Hei Tu and Bai Yun, then later summons Wei Yang to find those two demonic Gu Masters. Wei Yang bows and invites Sir Hei Tu and Lady Bai Yun to the second inner city for a talk. ^{ch. 263}

Shang Yan Fei asks Wei Yang what he thinks of the two. Wei Yang says collected information shows they are young with rank three peak stage cultivation, that Bai Yun seems shrewd, and that the names Hei Tu and Bai Yun should be fake. ^{ch. 264}

Wei Yang praises Miss Bai Yun’s cognitive abilities after she answers a rainbow light Gu weakness. Bai Ning Bing warns him not to call her Miss, rejects Lady Bai Yun as well, and only settles when he tries Sir Bai Yun. Little Xiao later compares Fang Yuan’s temper favorably to that freak Bai Yun, and Fang Yuan, pretending to be drunk, says Hei Tu and Bai Yun are fake names and that she is Bai Ning Bing. ^{ch. 266}

At the banquet Fang Yuan introduces himself as Hei Tu and his companion as Bai Yun. ^{ch. 269}

Shang Xin Ci greets Brother Hei Tu and sister Bai Yun when she sees them in the courtyard. Fang Yuan tells her he has lied too, that Hei Tu and Bai Yun are just fake names, and that his real name is Gu Yue Fang Zheng while his companion is Bai Ning Bing. Shang Xin Ci says she guessed the names were fake long ago, then repeats Gu Yue Fang Zheng to memorize it. ^{ch. 270}

Shang Xin Ci greets Brother Hei Tu and Sister Bai Yun when she and Shang Chi Wen reach Fang Yuan’s private room. ^{ch. 305}

Shang Xin Ci asks whether it is possible not to fight, saying Big Sister Bai Yun lost and had to give up her ice crystal Gu, and fearing Ju Kai Bei could cost Big Brother Hei Tu the all-out effort Gu. ^{ch. 315}
