Chen Shuang Jin

When Bai Ning Bing fully releases snow silver primeval essence in camp, the narration states that among the caravan leaders only Jia Long is rank three upper stage, and the rest are rank three initial or middle stage. Chen Shuang Jin is one of those leaders. ^{ch. 251}

When leaders size up Fang Yuan and Bai Ning Bing after Ou clan’s father and son fall, he is among those who would rather not become cannon fodder for someone else’s gain. After the caravan leaders finish their private tent discussion, his nephew Chen Xin approaches Chen clan’s caravan leader. Chen Shuang Jin takes him to their own tent and, once they confirm no one is eavesdropping, Chen Xin reminds him of the earlier report that Zhang Zhu was murdered. Chen Shuang Jin states that Zhang Zhu died to bone spears and that Hei Tu and Bai Yun used bone spears that day. He refuses a public accusation, arguing that witnesses without material evidence, and clans with different motives, cannot match two foes who just killed Ou clan’s father and son, and he tells Chen Xin that in this cold world only strength matters. ^{ch. 252}

During the zombie siege he asks what good suggestion Fang Yuan has after Fang Yuan scolds the camp. Fang Yuan points at him and berates the leaders; Chen Shuang Jin’s face turns ugly, yet he suppresses his anger because he still remembers Fang Yuan killing Ou clan’s father and son. ^{ch. 255}

When Fang Yuan weighs whether witnesses to Zhang Zhu’s death might shout the truth, the narration states that Chen Xin and Chen Shuang Jin, who knew the matter, had already died in battle. ^{ch. 257}
