White Elephant Primeval Strength Gu

Gu worm in Reverend Insanity

White Elephant Primeval Strength Gu is the strength Gu Fang Yuan uses to gain a white elephant phantom, one of the eight he carries in the Ju Kai Bei fight.

On the battle stage, Fang Yuan trades blows with Ju Kai Bei while eight beast phantoms flash by one after another. After stone turtle strength Gu, he used white elephant primeval strength Gu and black python coiling strength Gu to gain a white elephant phantom and a black python phantom. Eight phantoms are the limit of his body, so he used no other strength Gu after black python coiling strength Gu. Set against Ju Kai Bei’s rank four dragon-elephant huge strength Gu, the narration calls galloping horse strength Gu, green bull labor Gu and Fang Yuan’s other Gu only rank three. It does not name white elephant primeval strength Gu there. ch. 317

Placenta refinement

In the fourth step of the second aperture Gu recipe, Fang Yuan sends the white elephant phantom first into the centre of the yin and yang clouds. Elixir fire and golden sand grind it down, and it turns into a ball of white light. Black python, stone turtle and horse phantoms follow it in. When he controls them, the white elephant phantom is steady and simple, black python coiling and cold, stone turtle still as a mountain, and horse running with the wind. The four then fuse into a rank five Gu, the beast strength placenta Gu. ch. 378
