Special Will

Mo Yao realizes Giant Sun’s will was a special will after Fang Yuan’s special will Gu blocks and swallows the golden strand. Special will can be arranged in advance and automatically trigger under special conditions. Giant Sun Immortal Venerable used special will Gu to create a will of himself and place it in Eighty-Eight True Yang Building, so danger past a set degree would fulfill the condition and fire that prior setup. Giant Sun’s special will is greatly restrained by special will Gu; the strand in Fang Yuan’s mind is swallowed before it can show its might, though that strand is negligible beside the will still in True Yang Building. ^{ch. 607}

Special wills differ from other wills: they can be given a special command by the Gu Master that triggers if specific circumstances are met. Giant Sun’s will was congealed by special will Gu and given a resolve that, if it discovered an otherworldly demon, killing that demon must take priority no matter the circumstances. ^{ch. 614}

Mo Yao restates the same rule on that huge special will: when first formed, the main body placed a rule to exterminate any otherworldly demon it sees. ^{ch. 619}

In Fang Yuan’s mind, special will is a golden color, appearing like sand, while joyful will is bright yellow. ^{ch. 655}

Fang Yuan had filled Spring Autumn Cicada with his own special will and taken extra precautions with that will, yet heaven’s will activated the Gu and carried Ying Wu Xie’s will into the River of Time. ^{ch. 1022}

Fang Yuan can plant special will into Gu worms and later extract it. While Yi Tian Mountain is covered by a huge dream realm, that special will does not activate if Ying Wu Xie stays away from the mountain. ^{ch. 1025}
