Giant Sun Immortal Venerable

He has a handsome face. His mouth, nose, eyes, and brows are all thick and straight. ^{ch. 2246}

Fang Yuan names Longevity Heaven as Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s place of residence. ^{ch. 426} Inside Imperial Court blessed land, the central sacred palace is one of Giant Sun’s resting chambers and the most important of them; his other chambers sit in Eastern Sea, Western Desert, and Southern Border, with a still grander resting place in Longevity Heaven. Gu Masters who carry his bloodline are collectively the Huang Jin family, and in Northern Plains that family holds nearly the entire region. ^{ch. 552} Inside the sacred palace, visitors walk rather than ride as a mark of respect, and descendants keep the main doors of the eight main palaces reserved for him alone even after his death. ^{ch. 553}

Although his body has already perished, a remnant will he injected into Eighty-Eight True Yang Building still sleeps at the building’s center like a sun in darkness. Waking it is treated as fatal. That will occupies a large share of the building, and Fang Yuan’s early refinement work stays a thin fraction beside it. ^{ch. 559}

Giant Sun innovated the luck path and kept that work hidden while he lived. ^{ch. 568}

Inside Eighty-Eight True Yang Building’s true inheritance secluded domain, true inheritances come in ordinary, unparalleled, and supreme tiers. A bowl-sized light lump is ordinary, a basin-sized lump is unparalleled, and above unparalleled sits supreme; only three supreme true inheritances sit in the whole domain. Receiving a true inheritance here means passing its test, and those tests wipe away another batch of winners even after entry. ^{ch. 600} Mo Yao’s will names one of the three supreme true inheritances as a luck path inheritance founded by him on his unique luck path attainment, and says Eighty-Eight True Yang Building itself was refined by him with Long Hair Ancestor. ^{ch. 601}

Fang Yuan holds Luck Inspection Gu and uses it to inspect luck, treating that Gu as a first window into the path rather than the full inheritance. ^{ch. 604}

When a strand of Giant Sun’s will enters Fang Yuan through the glass owner token, Fang Yuan uses special will Gu to devour that strand before it can erode his mind. The will left in the building is a special will he placed for his descendants, and central continent Gu Immortals answer its awakening with piled special will Gu and seals on the yellow apricot immortal essence that power the house. ^{ch. 607} The will breaks free of one layer of special will Gu, finds itself sealed again, and turns to cutting the Gu off from immortal essence while the land spirit Frost Jade Peacock strains against its own seals on the same battlefield. ^{ch. 608}

Fang Yuan fights the will directly: he shields his head against mental invasion while the will refuses a straight exchange and keeps the chase inside the shrinking wind veil of assimilation. ^{ch. 640} During that fight the will pretends to clash in a frenzy, even destroying Immortal Gu as bait, so a formless hand can be led onto Fang Yuan. ^{ch. 641}

At a later auction, Gu Immortals bid on the essence of that luck path true inheritance, beginning with Gu recipes for luck inspection Gu as one of its main foundations. ^{ch. 760}

During the hundred days battle at Luo Po valley, Shadow Sect’s Qin Bai Sheng sneers that Giant Sun Immortal Venerable returned empty-handed after encountering a Thieving Heaven true inheritance even after reaching rank nine, that he got nothing, suffered a loss and ended in a pathetic state, and that this is why he hates otherworldly demons so much. Feng Jiu Ge does not refute it, and offers a theory that Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable’s otherworldly origin produced space path dao marks foreign to the five regions and nine heavens, then says Giant Sun wanted the true inheritance but was afraid of the implications, so he failed and suffered a loss, unable to do anything about it. ^{ch. 924}

During the relic vajra tribulation, Fang Yuan draws on a stored portion of Giant Sun’s rank nine immortal essence to let Graceful Chaotic Duel Stage display its strongest ability. That portion had not even been thirty percent spent through the earlier fighting, but absorbing a hundred vajra pearls with it exhausts the whole portion. ^{ch. 1008}

One of Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s most important goals in setting up Eighty-Eight True Yang Building was to ransack lifespan Gu across the whole of Northern Plains and extend his own lifespan, with feeding wisdom Gu a secondary aim. In his later years wisdom Gu went hungry for a long period and had to go into deep sleep, unusable. ^{ch. 1074}

In the Medieval Antiquity Era, three hundred thousand years before the present, Genesis Lotus, Thieving Heaven, and Giant Sun appear in succession. ^{ch. 1867}

A late roster of the Ten Venerables places him in the Medieval Antiquity Era beside Genesis Lotus and Thieving Heaven, with Spectral Soul and Paradise Earth listed under Late Antiquity Era instead. ^{ch. 2085}

At Luck Suppression Heavenly Palace he appears before Yao Huang as an immortal zombie. His main body has already died, and what sits there is a corpse with remnant will left inside it. ^{ch. 1243}

While he was still alive, Giant Sun Immortal Venerable suffered a loss inside a Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable inheritance. Despite being the creator of luck path, he had no strong methods against Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable’s arrangements. ^{ch. 1248}

During the fate war stretch, Calamity Luck Altar, an Immortal Gu House he created, buckles under Duke Long’s punches while Bing Sai Chuan still refuses to quit because the plan is Giant Sun’s arrangement. Memory of his life shows him satisfied with Eighty-Eight True Yang Building as a tool to strengthen his children, and already anticipating the day it collapses. ^{ch. 1733}

A rank nine killer move he left as a backup method then strikes toward fate Gu; Star Constellation Immortal Venerable answers from Imperfection Regret Pavilion by tossing a chess piece, so the clash is between leftover methods rather than both Venerables in the flesh. ^{ch. 1735}

Inside Calamity Luck Altar during the fight over Thieving Heaven’s true inheritance space, Immortal Zombie Giant Sun looks at Fang Yuan, steps out, and appears on the battlefield. ^{ch. 2175}

He arrives at Heavenly Court with Fang Yuan against Star Constellation. After Fang Yuan’s opening assault, Giant Sun supports with Soft Gold Crashing Pillar against her star fog, then shifts pressure toward the qi harvest fruit core when a direct win looks impossible on that ground. ^{ch. 2334}
