Fortune Rivalling Heaven Immortal Gu

Fang Yuan experiences the might of fortune rivalling heaven Gu on Ma Hong Yun inside Imperial Court blessed land. When the luck path supreme true inheritance throws itself at Ma Hong Yun, Mo Yao’s will is shocked and calls the event impossible. Fang Yuan concludes that the supreme true inheritance recognized Ma Hong Yun as its master because he had the power of fortune rivalling heaven Gu, and that this Gu is the true essence of Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s luck path. ^{ch. 620}

Fang Yuan lists Connect Luck, Calamity Beckoning Immortal Gu, and Fortune Rivalling Heaven among the all living being’s luck Immortal Gu that were from Imperial Court blessed land. ^{ch. 1093}

Duke Long states the true effect: the possessor continuously absorbs the luck of lifeforms around them and gathers that luck into one person. He places it as the apex of Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s all living being’s luck stage, names it rank eight with quasi-rank nine power, and explains the name as supreme luck that rivals heaven and earth once enough luck has been gathered. ^{ch. 1234}

Fang Yuan later identifies the lasting core as luck path dao marks on Ma Hong Yun’s body that absorb nearby luck without spending immortal essence or primeval essence, and recalls that after Ma Hong Yun used the Gu the lucky effect lasted until he died. ^{ch. 1408}

Qin Bai Sheng presents Ma Hong Yun as the recognized inheritor who has had fortune rivalling heaven Immortal Gu used on him. Hall talk treats it as rank eight and as a consumable Gu that can be used only once. Qin Bai Sheng states that the luck path true inheritance details do not contain the Immortal Gu recipe, but do contain a method to reverse refine the used fortune rivalling heaven Immortal Gu and recover the original Immortal Gu, with Ma Hong Yun as the main material. Old Ancestor Xue Hu buys Ma Hong Yun at that auction. Fang Yuan tells Old Ancestor Xue Hu that with Ma Hong Yun dead he cannot refine Fortune Rivalling Heaven to deal with his tribulation. Fang Yuan also states that Snowy Mountain blessed land was destroyed, that this refinement failed, and that Reverse Flow River was taken away. ^{ch. 1286}

Soul searching Ma Hong Yun’s captured soul, Fang Yuan finds that Fortune Rivalling Heaven’s Immortal Gu recipe is the core essence of the all living being’s luck true inheritance. Ma Hong Yun’s knowledge of that recipe is what Old Ancestor Xue Hu learned of after buying him, and it is what gave him the intention to refine fortune rivalling heaven Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1304}

Fang Yuan later names the cost: Snowy Mountain destroyed, Reverse Flow River taken, Lady Wan Shou injured, and Ma Hong Yun dead even while Fortune Rivalling Heaven’s protection was still in force. ^{ch. 1362}
