Chapter 772

Amid an explosion, He Lang Zi collapses into a huge pit, pinned by a crushing, formless weight that keeps him from moving at all. Xue Song Zi marvels that one move alone completely immobilized him, while Hei Cheng guesses it is a soul path killer move since He Lang Zi’s body is unharmed yet he cannot use a single killer move. Qin Bai Sheng answers with disdain that striking first is simply the advantage. Given three breaths to submit or die, He Lang Zi submits, but once freed he transforms into a huge wolf and pounces, only to fall again, pinned by the same crushing force. Bai Sheng names the move soul suppression, which sets his own soul against his target’s so that no beast form helps without an immortal transformation able to resist soul path methods, then gives a final choice, submit or die. In another dream, a caravan steward orders Fang Yuan to carry a box, easily done with his strength path cultivation. The steward, bound by a promise to a second young master, lashes Fang Yuan’s back out of spite, cutting a deep scar. The pain revives a memory from his previous life, when he was heavily suppressed and humiliated in a caravan after rejecting a young master’s recruitment. That night he refines his dream path mortal Gu, but a beast group charges the camp, overwhelming his defenses, so the attempt fails. He wakes back in Dang Hun palace. A message from Fairy Li Shan says Xue Hu has ordered every peak head to collect materials. She has left Snowy Mountain blessed land, cannot safely leave Hei Lou Lan alone, and urges him to hurry.
