Among seven Gu Immortals invading Lang Ya blessed land, Fang Yuan targets him as the lowest cultivation and likely lowest battle strength, remembering an earlier loss of Xue Song Zi to Fang Yuan’s strength path phantom army. He is a snow path Gu Immortal using Qin Bai Sheng’s lent rank six ice heart Immortal Gu and a set of immortal killer moves built on it. After he freezes the yellow jade lion with ice heart lock, a strength path giant hand seizes him; he detonates ice armor to push one hand back, then a second overhead slap beats him into meat paste. ^{ch. 874} A later soul search of Hei Cheng tells Fang Yuan that Xue Song Zi died in the initial period of the hundred days battle. ^{ch. 990} A soul search in Fang Yuan’s previous life finds Xue Song Zi’s soul tampered with by Shadow Sect’s side, so no Shadow Sect information comes out, though his growth during life, his cultivation insights, and his other experiences are all probed out. ^{ch. 1040}
