Fang Yuan against Hei Cheng, second battle

Fairy Li Shan holds only a mountain pledge Gu and cannot face an attack type Immortal Gu head on, so what she brought against dark arrow Immortal Gu is three mortal killer moves thought through carefully in advance and built to seal the arrows temporarily. The three are earth flower lotus burial, fading heavenly flower and tree flower sheds tears, and all of them rely on the pear orchard beneath them. Fading heavenly flower turns pear blossoms into light specks that stain a flying dark arrow until hot sparks and white spots appear on it and its speed and power fall. Between the three moves she seals two of the dark arrows. It costs her: her mind is worn out and her head hurts, and even holding the pear orchard she has fallen into a disadvantage against the dark veil, hanging on and praying that Hei Lou Lan’s tribulation will finish. ^{ch. 689}

Hei Cheng is not Hei tribe’s supreme first elder, and he paid a huge price to borrow Dark Prison from him so that this trip would have no accidents. It is Hei tribe’s rank six Immortal Gu House, a black pearl the size of a rice bowl, translucent, with a boar shaped animal sleeping inside; it is a beast stable, and what is trapped in it is the ancient desolate beast sharp tusk boar. Fairy Li Shan reads the threat as terminal for her position: destroying the pear orchard would be as easy for that beast as stomping on a garden, the three flower moves that rely on the orchard would weaken greatly, and the dark arrows would escape. Hei Cheng shows the pearl and puts it away without releasing the boar. ^{ch. 689}

The strength path phantom army numbers over two hundred thousand, a huge mob thicker than the tribulation cloud in the sky. Xue Song Zi carries healing Gu and a fracture is no heavy injury for a Gu Immortal, and the point Hei Cheng takes from the sight of him is that the enemy gave him no time to heal it. Hei Cheng’s own mortal killer moves are activated together and singly against the army and stop nothing, and the pitch black battlefield that occupied half the sky is smashed and taken down until it resembles a beggar’s clothing. Narration states the situation as two Gu Immortals being chased down by Fang Yuan alone. Hei Cheng judges that releasing the sharp tusk boar would not match the immortal killer move either, and that the one route left him is closed: killing Fang Yuan’s main body wants dark arrows, two are trapped, and the remaining one can do nothing to a Fang Yuan holding Immortal Gu Worldly Wave Trace. ^{ch. 689}

A third dark arrow, shot in secret while the other two combined in the air, covered by several mortal killer moves that took down the defences around her, pierces Fairy Li Shan’s forehead and comes out of the back of her head, and Hei Lou Lan opens her eyes on it. A flash of light returns Fairy Li Shan to the state she was in a moment before, her injuries gone and her skull intact, by Immortal Gu Man as Before, and Tai Bai Yun Sheng says he almost failed to make it. Hei Cheng’s anger goes to Xue Song Zi rather than to the interference, because the two had agreed that he would kill Fairy Li Shan while Xue Song Zi killed Tai Bai Yun Sheng and the immortal zombie who was Fang Yuan. Xue Song Zi comes out of it with a tattered robe, hair cut back until he is almost bald, a bruised and swollen face, a body covered in blood and one arm hanging fractured. Hei Lou Lan finishes digesting the three qi during the fight, transcends mortals into a Gu Immortal, and her body is purified to the point that the heavy injury in her eye sockets heals completely. Everyone gathers into Fang Yuan’s immortal aperture, and three breaths after he uses Fixed Immortal Travel he is gone, back in Snowy Mountain blessed land. Asked whether they are letting him leave, Hei Cheng answers that Instant Pause or no Instant Pause, the defence of those strength path phantoms cannot be broken through, and Xue Song Zi looks at the army still standing on the battlefield and says nothing. ^{ch. 689}
