Man as Before Immortal Gu

When the cocoon breaks, a colorful butterfly flutters into the sky. Rainbow light rains down along its path and trails as a curvy rainbow behind it. ^{ch. 611}

Man as Before at rank six is weak against rank seven Gu Immortals and often fails; effect improves when the target is a time path Gu Immortal with many time path dao marks. ^{ch. 1441} Fang Yuan’s main body later advances it from rank six to rank seven, and his time path clone oversees the refinement. ^{ch. 1680}

During an earthly calamity’s wind flower and snow moon tribulation, Fang Yuan’s worsening injuries leave him no choice but to activate Man as Before, and its expenditure rapidly drains his already scarce immortal essence. ^{ch. 1098}
