She is a female Gu Immortal with a graceful figure. She wears purple garments. She is charming and lovely, and her beautiful face shows a light smile. ^{ch. 692} She wears a purple dress. She has a high nose and deep beautiful eyes. Her eyebrows are thick and long. Her skin is slightly dark, and her entire body oozes with an alluring aura. ^{ch. 873}

Among Qin Bai Sheng’s group attacking Lang Ya blessed land, only Xue Song Zi and Jiang Yu are rank six Gu Immortals; the rest are rank seven. ^{ch. 873}

At Luo Po Valley she blocks Old Man Tian Long and Old Lord Can Yang so the Blazing Glory Lightning Brilliance immortal zombie can flee with a crucial Immortal Gu. Old Man Tian Long shatters her chest, and her corpse falls with bones and tendons broken. The battle summary lists Qin Bai Sheng and Fairy Jiang Yu among those sacrificed. ^{ch. 925} After she died, dark limit Immortal Gu was destroyed as well. ^{ch. 1039}

In a later-shown Shadow Sect stretch she returns with a terrible expression and reports that Chu Rong is dead and the operation to take back Modest Thatched Hut failed, nearly dying to Three Thatch Demon Immortal’s inheritor. ^{ch. 1017}

Fang Yuan recalls that Fairy Jiang Yu was a member of Shadow Sect. ^{ch. 1087}
