Refinement Cauldron

Lian Jiu Sheng states that Heavenly Court’s refinement path Gu formation is only a predecessor’s mimicry of Long Hair Ancestor’s Refinement Cauldron from past records, and that the real House still sits in Lang Ya blessed land with its core Immortal Gu. Because Immortal Gu are unique while that House remains, elevating the Gu formation into an Immortal Gu House is treated as nearly impossible without a redesign that uses other Immortal Gu as the core. ^{ch. 879}

The more hairy man Gu Immortals in Refinement Cauldron, the more powerful it is and the faster it can refine others’ Immortal Gu. Fang Yuan links earlier successful captures of invaders to hairy man Gu Immortals stationed inside the House. Qin Bai Sheng demands the House, and Lang Ya land spirit refuses. Qin Bai Sheng states he will not allow time for the House to refine their Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 882}

Qin Bai Sheng pulls Gu worms from the sky while the mysterious black robed Gu Immortal and Fairy Jiang Yu collect Gu worms at other locations, and Hei Cheng with Dark Prison block the silver giant. The land spirit warns that losing the House would collapse large parts of the blessed land. ^{ch. 884}

Refinement Cauldron is fused into the immortal aperture world. Its Immortal Gu dao marks expand Lang Ya blessed land’s space and resources, and living beings inside the aperture sit inside its refinement range. That fusion also let the earlier Lang Ya land spirit raise many hairy man Gu Immortals. The drawback is that the House cannot be moved without shrinking the aperture and causing huge losses, which is why the land spirit prefers other methods over summoning it to fight. ^{ch. 884}

Even after many Gu worms and some Immortal Gu are lost, the House can still refine others’ Gu as long as its core remains intact. Shadow Sect moles among the hairy man Gu Immortals left to guard it turn on the land spirit. ^{ch. 884}

Qin Bai Sheng later retreats with about half of Refinement Cauldron and calls the taken portion an incomplete Immortal Gu House. ^{ch. 885}
