Success dao mark

Infallible blessed land gathers others’ refinement failures into mortal failure Gu, and as those Gu increase they condense into success dao marks. Heavenly Court uses the Central Continent Refinement Path Convention to speed that accumulation, then takes the gathered success dao marks to restore fate Gu. Each cycle of the Infallible inheritance caps at thirty-six success dao marks; Heavenly Court has long taken thirty and left six for convention participants, and cannot seize those remaining six. ^{ch. 845}

The top six winners of the Refinement Path Convention each receive a success dao mark imprinted on the body on the spot, so outsiders cannot seize it. A success dao mark only eliminates the natural probability of failure during Gu refinement. One mark is enough for rank six Immortal Gu at most; rank seven and rank eight need more than one. Even with failure probability removed, a major technique error, or an Immortal Gu that already exists, still ends the refinement in failure. ^{ch. 847}

After placing second, Fang Yuan obtains a success dao mark. It cannot be traded or given away; Heavenly Court has tried and failed to take such marks, and the ten great ancient sects deal for its use rather than seize it. With the mark he needs only one set of refinement materials, which cuts the cost of attempting a rank six Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 858}

Even with a success dao mark that can reduce the natural failure rate of a rank six Immortal Gu to zero, a technical error during refinement still wastes the materials and the work. Fang Yuan therefore seeks a quiet, undisturbed place such as Star Form blessed land before attempting Immortal Gu refinement. ^{ch. 859}

Refining change form Immortal Gu uses up the success dao mark from the Infallible inheritance along with almost all of Fang Yuan’s immortal materials and immortal essence stones. Yu Mu Chun notes that Infallible inheritance success dao marks differ from ordinary ones and sit close to refinement path; longer study of such a mark could seed a personal Infallible inheritance. ^{ch. 862}

Immortal Crane Sect offers a large price to buy Fang Yuan’s success dao mark for use: they would supply a rank six Immortal Gu recipe and all immortal materials if he refined for them. Even the ten great ancient sects keep an unceasing demand for Immortal Gu and for such marks. Fang Yuan avoids saying he has already spent the mark and only asks for more time to consider. ^{ch. 863}

When Immortal Gu refinement begins, the success dao mark is consumed and turns into a special type of immortal material that helps the dao marks of other immortal materials fuse to the needed standard. If the refinement fails, the mark is destroyed with the lost materials. Rebirth during the change form Immortal Gu attempt destroys that sole mark and most of the prepared materials; the mark is not all-powerful, and intentional wrong methods still guarantee failure. ^{ch. 971 ch. 972}

While Heavenly Court runs a refinement path Gu formation to recover fate Gu, it has already expended half of the success dao marks obtained from the Infallible inheritance. ^{ch. 879}

Heavenly Court immortals judge that after most immortal zombies were destroyed, repairing fate Immortal Gu became much easier, and that Granny Sha can still make huge progress even without success dao marks from Infallible blessed land. ^{ch. 1244}

After the mark is used up refining change form Immortal Gu, Fang Yuan still faces funding, materials, timing, and the ordinary failure rate when planning star thought Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 904} Trying Immortal Gu refinement without a success dao mark from the Refinement Path Convention means relying on skill and luck alone. ^{ch. 926}

Lang Ya land spirit notes that with a success dao mark, refining change form Immortal Gu would have been a guaranteed success, and regrets the mark’s earlier loss. Without one, Lang Ya still relies on hairy man nature Gu refinement technique, refinement path dao marks in the blessed land, and remaining parts of Refinement Cauldron to keep the chance of success high. ^{ch. 1065}
