Immortal Crane Sect

On Fei He mountain, over ten thousand types of flying cranes fly or rest in the pine trees in an overwhelming sight, and that mountain is Immortal Crane Sect. In the sect sparring arena, two youngsters fight wearing similar clothing. ^{ch. 334} Elite disciples stand or sit cross-legged on flying cranes when they hurry toward Tian Ti mountain. ^{ch. 336}

At the highest point of Fei He mountain, in the hall of affairs, Immortal Crane Sect Gu Immortals sit in a circle as they discuss sect matters, with the rank eight first supreme elder in the centermost seat. ^{ch. 697}

Central Continent’s sect system is set against Southern Border clan bloodline: masters and disciples replace clan kinship, and talent plus character can open a door that birthplace does not. Immortal Crane Sect ranks from low to high as outer disciple, inner disciple, elite disciple, legacy disciple, sect elder, sect leader, and supreme elder. ^{ch. 335}

Sect elders need at least rank four. The sect leader is rank five. Supreme elders are rank six Gu Immortals, and there is even rank seven among them. The sect takes no C grade aptitudes. B grade is common, and many A grades sit inside the same super-level force. Compared with Southern Border top clans, Immortal Crane Sect is stronger than Shang clan. ^{ch. 335}

Gu Yue Fang Zheng appears as Immortal Crane Sect’s Fang Zheng, an elite disciple who can control ten thousand cranes, ^{ch. 334} and who rides with other Immortal Crane Sect elites toward Tian Ti for a Gu Immortal inheritance contest among the ten great sects. ^{ch. 336} He Feng Yang is named again later as one of Immortal Crane Sect’s supreme elders, holding a rank six One’s own way Gu. ^{ch. 375}

He Feng Yang argues that even if Fang Yuan had a Southern Border super clan behind him, Wu clan, Shang clan, Tie clan, Yi clan, and the rest sit far away, and that Immortal Crane Sect as one of the ten great sects of Central Continent has a huge chance of winning against them if they enter Central Continent under battle-strength suppression. In the same meeting Lei Tan presses He Feng Yang over the Hu Immortal plan, and Supreme Grand Elder puts He Feng Yang in charge of seizing the blessed land while ordering him to hand over one’s own way Gu for Feng Jiu Ge’s Immortal Gu demand. ^{ch. 407}

At the highest point of Fei He Mountain, in the hall of affairs, Immortal Crane Sect Gu Immortals sit in council under a rank eight first supreme elder. Named speakers include Shu Zhi Ge, Fan Xi Liu, Lady Sang Xin, Lei Tan, He Feng Yang, Gui Li, and a second supreme elder. Gui Li warns that Great Heavenly Sword Sect has been under Immortal Crane Sect for nearly a thousand years, wants to detach after gaining a third Gu Immortal, and that Myriad Dragon Dock may be involved. He also states that Immortal Crane Sect territory connects to Myriad Dragon Dock territory near that northwest border. First supreme elder then turns the meeting to taking back Hu Immortal blessed land, and He Feng Yang reports on Dang Hun Mountain and guts Gu while Lei Tan criticizes the lack of progress after more than a year. ^{ch. 697}
