Fan Xi Liu

As Immortal Crane Sect’s rank six Gu Immortal he presses Fang Zheng to take a blood path Immortal Gu. He argues that righteous or demonic use decides the path’s nature, and that he cultivates poison path while still helping people, so Fang Zheng can do the same with blood path. He nods that blood relation makes blood path useful against Fang Yuan, and he stays calm when Fang Zheng speaks openly about being used by the sect. ^{ch. 1642}

Immortal Crane Sect sends him to help Fang Zheng undergo tribulation. From concealment he senses heavy heaven’s will, takes joy when the tribulation forms as blood path, and later disrupts the blood clouds while leaving the balance of the three qi to Fang Zheng, whom he had trained beforehand. After the immortal aperture forms he asks to enter and help with the remaining tribulation; Fang Zheng opens the door. Several hours later the tribulation ends, and Fan Xi Liu’s envy rises again when Fang Zheng’s vital Gu becomes a second blood path Immortal Gu. Above the clouds he greets Zhao Lian Yun as Spirit Affinity Fairy, promises to pass her gift to Fang Zheng personally, and does not dare be rude to her. ^{ch. 1646}

Blood flower trees in Fang Zheng’s blessed land come through Immortal Crane Sect with Fan Xi Liu as proxy, and Fang Zheng practices a blood path immortal killer move that Fan Xi Liu imparted. Fan Xi Liu also supplies detailed information on Fang Yuan drawn from Heavenly Court, fuller than what circulates outside. ^{ch. 1647}

Inside the new high grade blessed land he compares it with his own past: his tribulation only yielded a medium grade blessed land after great risk. He brings blood path resources ordered by the sect. Those resources are worth about a rank six lone cultivator’s hundred years of accumulation; even with Immortal Crane Sect support, Fan Xi Liu needed fifty years to reach that stage. ^{ch. 1789}

When Fang Zheng cannot leave Fei He mountain casually and reports a plan to gather blood qi, Fan Xi Liu assigns him a golden mountain ox in the northwest, to kill, enslave, or capture alive for double sect contribution points. ^{ch. 1818}
