Chapter 1642

Inside heaven form, Fang Yuan’s will crashes into the sea of wills, but the sea is truly huge and only a small portion is destroyed. He can truly activate this rank nine killer move only after exterminating every will of the Five Xiangs’ descendants. Many of his methods fail on wills as sturdy as rocks. The destruction of his incomplete Immortal Gu House still pains him extremely. He hopes heaven form, which Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable made and he cannot comprehend, will repay him. Old Man Yan Shi, a wisdom path great expert, helped Bai Ning Bing specially to get it, so Fang Yuan concludes it must be very useful to Shadow Sect, which he now leads. He has also broken the Five Xiang’s seal and taken the Immortal Gu House at the peak and the public grotto-heaven. Qi clan’s Gu Immortals fled without taking any of its resources, and these all become his. ^{ch. 1642}

Outside, an explosion tears Bai Ning Bing to pieces, but her Bai Xiang form gathers again and charges the Qi clan Gu Immortals. Ying Wu Xie and Hei Lou Lan fight beside her. Fang Yuan’s immortal formation, set in ambush, strips the Qi clan of their freedom and forces them to fight her. Bai Ning Bing kills the youngest of them, and Ying Wu Xie captures his soul and traps it in the formation. Bai Ning Bing breaks apart and revives again, so the Qi clan despair of winning a battle of attrition. ^{ch. 1642}

They find the formation sits near the entrance of their base, Qi Sea grotto-heaven, and call Fang Yuan vicious. They do not know that he killed Qi Zai and so learned the grotto-heaven’s details. The grotto-heaven was Qi Xiang’s immortal aperture and cannot move from white heaven. Some want Qi Ping Su to come out and help break the formation, but others refuse, since he is alone in the base and Shadow Sect could use the opening. Fang Yuan does not come, but his craftiness leaves them flustered. ^{ch. 1642}

In Central Continent, Fang Zheng stands before a blood path Immortal Gu. Immortal Crane Sect meant to execute him, but Fang Yuan faked his death and sent him to Lang Ya blessed land, where years of war matured him. When Heavenly Court attacked there, Feng Jiu Ge saved him for his unique identity, and he returned to Central Continent. He mocks the righteous path sect for wanting him to become a demonic path Gu Immortal against Fang Yuan. Rank six Gu Immortal Fan Xi Liu answers that use decides righteousness, and that he cultivates poison path while still helping people. Fang Zheng says he would cultivate blood path only to deal with Fang Yuan, since they are blood brothers. ^{ch. 1642}

Fan Xi Liu asks whether Fang Zheng wants revenge, since Fang Yuan slaughtered all of Fang Zheng’s clansmen in Gu Yue village. Fang Zheng says he still hates Fang Yuan but understands him, and will not avenge an uncle and aunt who used him as a pawn while Fang Yuan cared for him greatly. He would avenge the clan leader and Gu Yue Qing Shu, but he is tired of the endless killing and wants no revenge. The irony, he says, is that the sect backed his revenge only after he gave it up. He has no choice and must accept. Fan Xi Liu is surprised at his openness, but Fang Zheng says Fan Xi Liu’s methods would reveal anything he hid, then takes the Gu and asks its name.
