Grotto-Heaven Changes Owners
Bai Xiang tears past Qi Fa, leader of the Qi clan Gu Immortals, leaving Qi Jin’s corpse frozen in ice. Qi path killer moves shred her again and again, but she regenerates to perfection. After an intense battle, three of the five Qi clan Gu Immortals are dead, and only Qi Fa and Qi Cai remain. Qi Cai says the super immortal formation is the biggest problem, since without it they would have escaped already. Qi Fa agrees to call Qi Ping Su. Fang Yuan left transmissions open to lure Qi Ping Su out of the grotto-heaven, and Qi Fa knows it. ch. 1643
Qi Ping Su, rank six and guarding Qi clan’s base, Qi Sea grotto-heaven, opens its entrance on their order. Bai Ning Bing teleports through the formation and rushes in, forcing him back. Inside, the vast qi path dao marks heavily suppress her strength, yet she gains the upper hand. Qi Ping Su, injured, vanishes into the white clouds. She doubts she can find him again in so huge a place. ch. 1643
A thick cloud sea forms above her, and she senses fatal danger. Within it, Qi Ping Su finds Qi Sea heavenly spirit, a snow-white fawn that woke because it sensed an incredibly evil and strong existence coming for the grotto-heaven. The spirit says the intruder is not the existence it sensed, which Qi Ping Su names as Fang Yuan, a demonic path Gu Immortal who left even Heavenly Court helpless. Qi Ping Su adds that Bai Ning Bing is Fang Yuan’s subordinate and has killed three of their clan. The enraged spirit sends a huge white qi pillar down on her. It immobilizes her, and this rank eight attack leaves her bound to die. ch. 1643
Fang Yuan steps out of a jade light and cuts the pillar in two with a sword will. Bai Ning Bing flies to his side. He names the attack as Unlimited Qi Sea, the signature killer move that made Qi Xiang renowned. It is a rank eight move built on many qi path Immortal Gu and tens of thousands of supplementary Gu worms, and it grows from the qi Qi Xiang stored. With Qi Xiang long dead and no rank eight Gu Immortal in Qi clan, much of that qi has dissipated. Fang Yuan’s coming alerted the heavenly spirit, which barely activates the move for the first time in many years. ch. 1643
Fang Yuan flies into the cloud sea, while Bai Ning Bing stays out as too weak for such a battle. Qi of every kind charges him, and at first the pressure leaves him barely able to move. His time path clone deduces the move with the light of wisdom. He counterattacks all the way to the heavenly spirit. Its ownership requirement is too tough for him, as Qi Zai’s soul revealed, and blood light spirit suppression cannot work on a rank eight heavenly spirit. He kills it, and the unmanned killer move stops at once. ch. 1643
Qi Ping Su surrenders, subdued by Fang Yuan’s overwhelming demonic aura. Fang Yuan tells him to get Qi Fa and Qi Cai to surrender too if he wants to live, and sends him into the formation. Qi Fa and Qi Cai, losing all motivation at the grotto-heaven’s fall, surrender after some hesitation. Fang Yuan now holds the rank nine killer move heaven form, the Five Xiangs’ public grotto-heaven and Qi Sea grotto-heaven, all from the Five Xiang’s Bet. ch. 1643
