In a grey memory scene, Purple says his wisdom path attainment has reached great grandmaster and that he has deduced an Immortal Gu recipe that can create wisdom sword Immortal Gu. He says wisdom sword can cut the threads of love, and that cutting love Gu’s dao marks on Azure’s body is enough even if the Gu cannot rival rank nine love Gu. Wisdom sword cuts the threads of love. Bo Qing used it to cut the wisdom path dao marks left by love Gu on his body, freeing himself from those restrictions, and he used that turn of events to pull Mo Yao of Spirit Affinity House to his side. ^{ch. 1083}

It is a genuine rank eight Immortal Gu and needs rank eight immortal essence to activate. Green grape immortal essence is not enough for that demand, and lower rank immortal essence is not enough for ordinary use of this Gu. ^{ch. 1083 ch. 1468} Attitude Gu can run on mental energy and be used even by rank six Gu Immortals, while wisdom sword Immortal Gu needs rank eight immortal essence. ^{ch. 1083}

It feeds on multicolored overlord flowers. Those flowers need large illumination, intense sweet scents, and pearl soil to mature. ^{ch. 1083 ch. 1297}

Fang Yuan refines rank eight Wisdom Sword with the wisdom refinement formation, together with Change Soul, Sword Eyebrows, Flying Sword, Sword Escape, and Wave Sword taken from immortal zombie Bo Qing. It is already very hard for him to use with only green grape immortal essence on hand, well short of the rank eight immortal essence it calls for. In the same stretch, he arranges feeding plans for Attitude Gu beside wisdom sword Gu. ^{ch. 1083}

Among Fang Yuan’s rank eight Immortal Gu it is the ordinary case: Attitude Gu has a very low requirement to use, while wisdom sword Immortal Gu needs rank eight immortal essence even when he already owns it. Once he has rank eight cultivation and white litchi immortal essence, wisdom sword Immortal Gu is one of the cores of Five Finger Fist Heart Sword and lets him reach its fourth sword. ^{ch. 1633} He later modifies a killer move that uses wisdom sword Immortal Gu as the core and makes that move his main method for clearing wills while refining heaven form.
