Love Gu

A later telling repeats that Desolate Ancient Moon ruined love Gu’s dream at the mountain foot, and that love Gu awakened the rockman to obstruct her. After she kills the rockman and reaches the mountain waist, love Gu appears, says it will topple Cheng Bai mountain, and crashes into the stacked rocks so the mound crumbles, then leaves her among the pile. Cognition Gu calls love Gu demanding and unreasonable, and says that even cognition Gu and its child Wisdom Gu would not want to confront it. Cognition Gu also asks Desolate Ancient Moon not to name the advice, because in the face of fanatic and toyful love, wisdom and cognition can only run away. ^{ch. 547}

When Desolate Ancient Moon loses herself and Northern Dark Ice Soul cannot answer why humans live, bewilderment Gu approaches him, then love Gu and disguise Gu follow. Cognition Gu calls those Gu famous for mischief and does not want to provoke them. Love Gu tells cognition Gu it is completely unreasonable and drives it off, then uses disguise Gu to pose as cognition Gu and sends Northern Dark Ice Soul to search for a meaning Gu that does not exist. Love Gu proposes that the three Gu follow and toy with him in turns as punishment. ^{ch. 567}

When Fang Yuan studies thought, will, and emotion, narration says wills merge into emotion, lists estrus Gu and related Gu, and names Love Gu from The Legends of Ren Zu as the most famous Gu of that path. ^{ch. 570}

In a scene from Shadow Sect’s past, Purple tells the sect’s other immortals that Azure fell into the trap of love because Spirit Affinity House used their signature Immortal Gu, love Gu. He calls the Gu rank nine, its might nigh unstoppable. ^{ch. 1016}

A later Ren Zu stretch has love Gu approach Ren Zu while he is stalled by fear. It says it smells hope and fear from him and that both together are its food. Ren Zu will not give hope away, so love Gu stays beside him and says that with love present he can summon Courage Gu. After he calls, Courage Gu comes, lands in his heart at the aura of love and fear, and plays with Fear Gu there. ^{ch. 1175}

Love Gu is rank nine, and it is Spirit Affinity House’s signature Immortal Gu. It flies out of its resting place to the unconscious Zhao Lian Yun’s side and stays on her shoulder instead of leaving, throwing the sect into commotion. By the sect’s rule, once love Gu acknowledges someone, that person becomes the current generation fairy however disliked they are, however poor their aptitude, however badly the Gu Immortal higher-ups receive them, and whether they are male or female. ^{ch. 1222}

Spirit Affinity House’s first supreme elder confirms that Zhao Lian Yun has already received love Gu’s acknowledgment, names her the current generation fairy with her life tablet Gu already at the lowest position on the wall of past fairies, and, rather than answer her question of why, recites a chapter of The Legends of Ren Zu on the fire of love. ^{ch. 1229}

As Zhao Lian Yun begs it for help while the spaceless tunnel collapses around her, love Gu shines with an intensely bright light in her phantom aperture, as if sensing her unwavering love and determination. The light covers her completely and expands to shield the four Gu Immortals around her. A hole then opens before her, and love Gu’s force carries her and the other four Gu Immortals through it into Snowy Mountain blessed land. ^{ch. 1249}
