Spaceless Tunnel

After Central Continent’s three Immortal Gu Houses vanish from Luck Suppression Heavenly Palace’s search, Giant Sun immortal zombie identifies where they have gone: spaceless tunnel, a space path immortal killer move Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable created and left scattered across the five regions and two heavens, whose portions still function even with him long vanished. Not even Giant Sun immortal zombie can say where this tunnel leads, so South Desolation Immortal and Yao Huang are left to wait for the Central Continent group to reappear. ^{ch. 1248}

Deep inside the tunnel, Myriad Tidal Dragon wakes from the sleep his escape move cost him, and Central Continent’s Gu Immortals press on for the final stretch. A giant ghost face appears and blocks the tunnel completely; as it roars, the tunnel starts to collapse, dao mark fragments fly everywhere, and a space crack spreads out like a spider web until the tunnel breaks apart like a shattered mirror, with a devouring hole swallowing Canary Pavilion outright while Wind Sweeping Building and Edge Link Camp break apart under the strain. The ghost face is Spectral Soul Demon Venerable’s work, so the shortcut carries the power of two Demon Venerables and is a fatal trap. Her love Gu shields Zhao Lian Yun and the four Gu Immortals around her and carries them through a hole that forms before her, arriving instead at Snowy Mountain blessed land. ^{ch. 1249}

For the Gu Immortals left behind in the collapsing tunnel, the outcome bodes ill rather than well, and the five who reach Snowy Mountain blessed land may be the only survivors. ^{ch. 1250}

The unexpected collapse of the tunnel separates the surviving five from every formation path Gu Immortal Central Continent had sent with the expedition, leaving them unable to decipher the Gu formation trapping them at Snowy Mountain blessed land. ^{ch. 1251}

South Desolation Immortal knows only that the Central Continent Gu Immortals entered the tunnel, not that a mishap befell them inside it, so he expects to find most of their force rather than the small group that reaches Snowy Mountain blessed land. ^{ch. 1252}

Zhao Lian Yun later asks the other survivors whether the Gu Immortals who did not escape the tunnel’s final collapse might be dead, and whether a second group of reinforcements could risk the tunnel again at all. ^{ch. 1254}

When Canary Pavilion and Wind Sweeping Building finally reach Luck Suppression Heavenly Palace, cracks mark both hulls from the price of getting out of the tunnel, and South Desolation Immortal wonders whether the third Immortal Gu House, Edge Link Camp, was destroyed inside it. ^{ch. 1267}

Even after meeting with an accident inside the tunnel, Central Continent’s accumulated strength lets the Gu Immortals who reacted quickly escape the danger there smoothly. ^{ch. 1269}

Edge Link Camp is already incomplete from the long journey and the tunnel’s collapse before it later takes further damage fighting at Snowy Mountain blessed land, which is part of why the Immortal Gu House eventually breaks apart entirely. ^{ch. 1273}
