Inside a star cloud storm, Bi Chen Tian controls Wind Sweeping Building. A hill-like star can shatter on impact while the house survives, yet the collision still flings it off the allied formation. Its strongest method turns jade green light into fierce winds that join into a tornado pillar, pushing surrounding stars away while the house sits peaceful at the center; even that is not enough against the storm’s scale, so the Gu Immortals inside send immortal essence into the house. ^{ch. 1245} After escape, Bi Chen Tian brings Wind Sweeping Building to free Canary Pavilion and Edge Link Camp from a sky chief ambush, again raising a jade wind pillar with Canary Pavilion’s thousand bird cries. ^{ch. 1246} In the spaceless tunnel collapse Wind Sweeping Building breaks apart completely under space path chaos. ^{ch. 1249} It later reappears cracked but imposing, surrounded by strong winds, as Myriad Tidal Dragon controls it and also uses Canary Pavilion against Luck Suppression Heavenly Palace. ^{ch. 1267}

At the Refinement Path Convention battlefield, Wind Sweeping Building is named a rank seven Immortal Gu House, a seven-story tower with fluttering curtains, and one of Wind Cloud Manor’s two signature houses paired with Cloud Passing Building. Those two can combine into the rank eight Immortal Gu House Wind Cloud Manor, which in Fang Yuan’s previous life was once ranked the number one Immortal Gu House for a time. Wind Sweeping Building’s intense winds restrain Fang Yuan’s house so Yue Yang Palace and Frost Dragon Manor can finish a breach. ^{ch. 1708} Later the house is called a wind path Immortal Gu House: a wall of wind around it can resist great thief ghost hand to some extent, yet summer fan’s time path power forces it to a halt. ^{ch. 1717}

When unlimited wind rises on another field, Wind Sweeping Building enters that wind instead of aiding nearby allies, and the current Wind Sweeping Building Lord claims he can make the wind his own as the move weakens. ^{ch. 1731} Ye Fan again names Wind Cloud Manor’s rank seven Wind Sweeping Building over Emperor City. ^{ch. 1931} In the clash, it restrains Fang clan’s Fallen Flower Hall when Edge Link Camp rushes Inquiry Dock. ^{ch. 1933}
