Affection Immortal Gu

Fang Yuan pulls the Gu from Reverse Flow River after Edge Link Camp breaks apart, and Bi Chen Tian confirms what it is. ^{ch. 1273}

Appearance

It is like a jellyfish: fist-sized, soft and tiny. Reverse Flow River washed it onto Fang Yuan’s face, and it stuck to his forehead. ^{ch. 1272} He held this jellyfish-like Gu in his hand. It has a soft body. The jellyfish body was very tattered, with a huge injury about a quarter of its size. ^{ch. 1273}

Form and path

The body can survive impacts that crush most Gu, which is how it lasts in Reverse Flow River, though the specimen Fang Yuan holds is tattered, with an injury about a quarter of its size. Inside the river, Gu auras are sealed, so Fang Yuan cannot read its rank there. ^{ch. 1273}

Edge Link Camp use

Central Continent had placed the Gu in Edge Link Camp with many mortal Gu so the Immortal Gu House could track love Gu, even inside an immortal aperture. That setup is what let Edge Link Camp follow love Immortal Gu to Snowy Mountain blessed land. After the house breaks, the Gu is one of the worms swept into the river. ^{ch. 1273}

Why Fang Yuan keeps it

Bi Chen Tian treats the Gu as low value for most Gu Immortals: mortal will Gu already cover ordinary will work, conflicting dao marks weaken other-path Immortal Gu, and affection Immortal Gu alone does not form immortal killer moves. Fang Yuan keeps it because he needs wisdom path Immortal Gu, his sovereign immortal body has no conflicting dao marks, and he already has wisdom path grandmaster attainment. Fight over the Gu

Fang Yuan considers trading it for Immortal Gu that suit him better, but Reverse Flow River blocks transactions. Bi Chen Tian then fights him for it. When punches threaten him underwater, Fang Yuan holds the Gu in front of Bi Chen Tian’s fist so Bi Chen Tian pulls back rather than risk destroying it, and Fang Yuan uses those openings. ^{ch. 1274}

Feed

It is rank seven. Affection Gu feeds on the same thing as love Gu: hope and fear. Fang Yuan buys large numbers of Hope Gu and Fear Gu from treasure yellow heaven to cover that need. ^{ch. 1291}
