Qing Chou

Qing Chou descends with rage as Divine Bean Palace attacks Fallen Flower Hall again. Rage leaves it unable to think logically. As Fang clan’s reinforcements arrive, it ignores Eagle Concubine’s plea to retreat and wants only to kill Fang Yuan. ^{ch. 1518}

Fearing that Fang clan’s reinforcements will form peach blossom maze, Chen Yi decides to help Qing Chou rather than deal with it. He calls karma divine tree, and green lights turn to spears and stab Qing Chou from all directions. It roars with sadness, hatred, anger, and bitterness. Countless Immortal Gu auras surge from its body and mix into an immortal killer move. ^{ch. 1518}

The move destroys several pillars and forces the palace door open, and Qing Chou sees the outside world through it. Its purple tongue extends like a sharp blade and pierces many layers of space to reach Fang Yuan’s forehead. The tongue chases him into Fallen Flower Hall and pierces Fang An Lei’s chest. ^{ch. 1518}

The tongue sword turns and pierces toward Fang Yuan, and Fang Yun and Fang Leng suppress it. Qing Chou tries its best but cannot kill Fang Yuan, and is extremely weakened. ^{ch. 1519}

Divine Bean Palace suppresses it by force. The palace then activates on its own, takes in the fainted Old Ghost Bai Jun, Eagle Concubine and the remaining soul beasts, and flies off in retreat. Fang Yuan guesses from the attack that an immemorial soul beast controls the palace and can only make it fly around. Fang Hua Sheng finds the tongue sword a soul path killer move with a poison path effect, and can only suppress Fang An Lei’s poisoning, not heal it. ^{ch. 1519}

Fairy Zi Wei sends Chen Yi with no helpers, expecting him to take over Divine Bean Palace and eliminate Qing Chou alone. Chen Yi reasons that Qing Chou has some of the powers of karma divine tree. He wants to capture it to study karma divine tree and to find the remaining Shadow Sect members. ^{ch. 1522}

The narration says Qing Chou, weakened, is completely suppressed by the palace. Chen Yi stands in the palace facing it and cooperates with the palace to suppress it. He tries to subdue the legendary immemorial soul beast rather than kill it. Its slaves Old Ghost Bai Jun and Eagle Concubine, seeing his control over the palace that suppresses their master, defect to Chen Yi. ^{ch. 1522}

Chen Yi suppresses Qing Chou while he reinforces the palace and watches the fight. The narration says Qing Chou can influence Divine Bean Palace and make it fly. That authority is in Qing Chou’s hands, so Chen Yi cannot make the palace move. He could kill Qing Chou and take the authority, but then Qing Chou would die and his plans would be disrupted. So he tries to make it surrender. ^{ch. 1525}

Chen Yi calls karma divine tree again, and the palace trembles as if welcoming him. A bad effect fruit in the tree is covered by dark smoke that slowly turns into Qing Chou’s appearance. Qing Chou feels that once the smoke turns entirely into its appearance, Chen Yi will subdue it with no way to retaliate. ^{ch. 1526}

It roars and lifts its suppressed head. Its limbs bear its weight, the scales on its neck protrude, and its eyes are bloodshot. Chen Yi says it has been preserving strength all along. ^{ch. 1526}

Gu worm auras emerge from its body, and it uses an immortal killer move. The narration says it was formed from the remnant souls of humans and can cultivate and use immortal killer moves. Against Fang Yuan it had lost its reasoning, but against Chen Yi it is logical and uses the most appropriate method. It tells Chen Yi he is dreaming if he wants to enslave it. ^{ch. 1526}

Its final move has rank eight Soul Beast Token as the core, and its name is unknown. Soul path dao marks light up across green ghost desert, and all the soul beasts feel a summoning to reinforce Qing Chou. Fang Di Chang deduces that if green ghost desert is seen as an incomplete battlefield killer move, Qing Chou is that move’s owner. To undo the move, Fang clan must break into the palace and kill Qing Chou. Qing Chou does not want to be enslaved, but the effect of its move is not immediate. ^{ch. 1526}

As the palace pillars collapse, the suppression on Qing Chou falls, and it benefits. It raises its head and shatters the spears of light stabbing its body. Fang Gong leaps at it, and Qing Chou faces him. ^{ch. 1527}

Qing Chou cries out in pain as its mountain-like body is sent flying. The narration says it loses to Fang Gong in a physical brawl. Chen Yi joins the fight and reinforces Qing Chou, since they share a common enemy. ^{ch. 1527}

The soul beasts summoned by Soul Beast Token pour into peach blossom maze. The narration counts Qing Chou among three rank eight existences fighting inside Divine Bean Palace, and their blows leave the palace about to break apart. ^{ch. 1527}

Qing Chou pounces at Fang Gong, then at Chen Yi, and ignores Fang Yuan, who has come up to it. It does not sense him at all. Chen Yi tells it there is someone on its back. A ghost hand enters its body, and Fang Yuan pulls it out clenched around something. ^{ch. 1528}

Qing Chou’s huge body shakes, and its tortoise shell is on the verge of breaking apart. A Fang clan Gu Immortal says it has an immortal aperture and is able to cultivate. It roars and asks which of the two stole its Soul Beast Token. ^{ch. 1528}

It uses an investigative immortal killer move and finds nothing. It accuses Chen Yi, and the two fight with greater intensity. Having lost a rank eight Immortal Gu, Qing Chou goes mad with anger and holds nothing back. ^{ch. 1528}

Qing Chou had refined Soul Beast Token, and its will is inside. Fang Yuan has a lot of difficulty refining it. Under self love, the will of Qing Chou starts to love and treasure itself and will not risk self-detonating the token. Qing Chou’s will quickly destroys the affection will sent in. ^{ch. 1529}

The narration calls its will very powerful and very stubborn inside the token. When its will knows it is not Fang Yuan’s match, it wants to detonate the token. Fang Yuan erases all of its lingering will. With the token refined, Fang Yuan means to enslave Qing Chou with it and hundred and eighty slaves, reasoning that Qing Chou’s hold over Divine Bean Palace would help him win the palace. ^{ch. 1529}

Fang clan wins the battle and takes Divine Bean Palace. Qing Chou escapes. It has deep foundations and more rank eight Immortal Gu than just Soul Beast Token. ^{ch. 1530}

The narration gives it rank eight battle strength; Fang Yuan never fought it himself but can see how powerful it is. He thinks that even with reverse flow protection seal he could at best fight it evenly. He thinks it is likely hiding in green ghost desert. He judges it the biggest threat to any hunt there and decides to leave Western Desert. ^{ch. 1530}

He tells He Gu things about Qing Chou, all truthful words. She asks whether Qing clan’s inheritance is with it, and he says he is unsure of the specifics. He means to turn Western Desert Gu Immortals toward Qing Chou, use them to find where it hides, and let the Qing clan inheritance move a rank eight Gu Immortal or two against it. ^{ch. 1530}

Chen Yi still carries injuries caused by Fang Gong and Qing Chou. They are covered by strength path and soul path dao marks and are very deep. He says he could not kill Qing Chou. ^{ch. 1539}

Fang Yuan’s plan to hunt soul beasts in green ghost desert has failed. He names Qing Chou’s escape as one reason. ^{ch. 1616}

The narration says Fang clan defeated Chen Yi and Qing Chou and took Divine Bean Palace. Fang clan also recruited Old Ghost Bai Jun and Eagle Concubine. ^{ch. 1776}

Fang Yuan counts Qing Chou among his hidden dangers. It is likely still lurking somewhere in green ghost desert. ^{ch. 1779} The narration states that Qing Chou is still hiding there, a huge threat that makes the desert a place of fatal danger. ^{ch. 1792}

After Fang clan seized Divine Bean Palace, Qing Chou left it and hid in some areas. The narration says Genesis Lotus’ will, in control of the palace after it merged with Emperor City, passed information on Qing Chou to Heavenly Court. That will knew Qing Chou well and held a secret method to find it. Qin Ding Ling took the method and secretly ordered Nine Spiritual Fairy to search for Qing Chou and subdue it. The narration calls Qing Chou a legendary immemorial beast with outstanding battle strength and a natural ability to recognize everything related to Spectral Soul. ^{ch. 2014}

Nine Spiritual Fairy had found its location but doubted her strength would succeed. When Red Heart Traveler ran into Demon Immortal Qi Jue, she planned to lure Qi Jue into fighting Qing Chou. A huge immemorial soul beast flies out of the desert ground, and Qi Jue becomes tangled with it. Nine Spiritual Fairy judges that Qing Chou is not Qi Jue’s match. Qi Jue senses something amiss and vanishes into his qi currents, and Qing Chou, left without an opponent, escapes to the horizons. ^{ch. 2014}

Two Mo clan Gu Immortals fight a giant beast they blame for heavy losses to their clan. They say they will tear out its bones and tendons to compensate for those losses. The beast speaks human words and pierces one of them with its long purple-red tongue. Strong poison corrodes that immortal into nothingness, and only his immortal aperture falls to the ground. The narration names the beast as Qing Chou. ^{ch. 2016}

Ghost qi forms ghostly figures that block the second immortal. It tells him he and his partner are being used by others, and the figures kill him. The narration says Qing Chou is a legendary immemorial desolate beast whose wisdom surpasses ordinary humans. It pretended to be an ordinary beast so the Mo clan immortals relaxed their guard. When the immortals die, the immemorial sand monster they brought to restrain it slows, and it flees at Qing Chou’s order. ^{ch. 2016}

Qing Chou then calls out two Heavenly Court immortals hiding in the sky, Nine Spiritual Fairy and Red Heart Traveler. It falls into a disadvantage against their rank eight killer moves. Its body is so tough that several rank eight killer moves leave no injury. After dozens of exchanges it learns their techniques and starts to turn the situation around. Qi tides from the apertures of the dead Mo clan immortals then restrict it, and its strength falls sharply. ^{ch. 2016}

The narration says Qing Chou realizes the two immortals had calculated even those apertures into their plan. It roars and struggles in vain. Nine Spiritual Fairy had drawn the Mo clan immortals there by destroying nearby resource points in a beast’s form. ^{ch. 2016}

Red Heart Traveler holds Qing Chou inside a battlefield killer move while Nine Spiritual Fairy fights it. The narration says Qing Chou has intelligence comparable to a human’s and concentrates its attacks on Red Heart Traveler to break out. Its tongue easily destroys the blood red figures around it. ^{ch. 2019}

Nine Spiritual Fairy uses the immortal killer move Nine Spiritual Transformations and turns her light sphere into a rhinoceros. In the collision Qing Chou takes a small step back. Red Heart Traveler calls this the first time Qing Chou falls into a disadvantage since the battle began. Nine Spiritual Fairy then becomes a southern fire sparrow, and its flames break Qing Chou’s defensive methods within a few breaths. ^{ch. 2019}

Red Heart Traveler says he detected that Qing Chou’s vital Gu is rank eight hatred Gu and built his move for it. A blood sun insignia lands on its chest, and blood threads bind its whole body like a mummy. Qing Chou breaks through the battlefield killer move but stays bound. Red Heart Traveler confirms to Nine Spiritual Fairy that the hatred Gu is the one recorded in The Legends of Ren Zu. Nine Spiritual Fairy says the Gu explains how Qing Chou tells its enemies apart, though it lacked a killer move to use the Gu fully. ^{ch. 2019}

Nine Spiritual Fairy says capturing Qing Chou serves the plan of capturing Fang Yuan. She expects to take out the hatred Gu and use a Heavenly Court killer move to locate Fang Yuan, Spectral Soul and other demons. The two immortals detain Qing Chou and head for Central Continent. ^{ch. 2019}

The narration lists the capture of Qing Chou among Heavenly Court’s recent good news. Nine Spiritual Fairy reports that hatred Gu has merged into Qing Chou. She says Heavenly Court found a method to refine it only recently, and it will take quite long. If it succeeds, she says, Heavenly Court can manipulate Qing Chou as well. ^{ch. 2023}

Deep under Heavenly Court, Qing Chou’s mountain-like body lies unmoving in a huge underground square. Red Heart Traveler defends the place. A loud sound shakes the square and cracks the ground, and he seals the cracks at a visible rate. ^{ch. 2025}

Qing Chou speaks, but the voice is Nine Spiritual Fairy’s. She is inside its body, trying to refine hatred Gu by force. Red Heart Traveler tells her the commotion is Qi Sea Ancestor starting his formation, and that it cannot interrupt their plan. ^{ch. 2025} Qin Ding Ling tells Nine Spiritual Fairy that Heavenly Court is one step from subduing Qing Chou and orders the refinement to continue. ^{ch. 2027}

Underground, Nine Spiritual Fairy says from within the statue-like Qing Chou that a few more minutes will finish the refinement. Qing Chou’s dim eyes burst open and shoot out blood red light. Nine Spiritual Fairy flies out of its body, shouting that it is hatred Gu. Qing Chou roars, charges out of the formation and flies to the surface. The formation is left damaged, and Red Heart Traveler suffers a considerable backlash. ^{ch. 2029}

Nine Spiritual Fairy says rank eight hatred Immortal Gu burst out with a trace of a rank nine Immortal Gu’s aura. On the battlefield, Qing Chou comes up behind Lady Cold Ash, whose body Spectral Soul controls, and opens its mouth to devour her, but her body turns into black smoke and drifts away. Spectral Soul places a hand on Qing Chou’s head, and immemorial soul beast silhouettes cover it in injuries. It does not retreat and shouts that it will kill him. Its killer move lands on Lady Cold Ash and sends her flying. ^{ch. 2029}

Struck by that killer move, Lady Cold Ash names a rank nine Immortal Gu, then corrects herself: only an incomplete product. Nine Spiritual Fairy says hatred Gu is going from rank eight to rank nine. She says Qing Chou originated from the souls Spectral Soul slaughtered, and that hatred Gu was the core Immortal Gu that created it. In her account, Qing Chou in turn nourishes hatred Gu, and its endless hatred let the Gu grow over time. ^{ch. 2029}

The watching immortals see that the rank nine aura is real but weak, with its main part still at rank eight. The narration says Spectral Soul’s appearance seemed to summon the deepest hatred in Qing Chou’s heart, which rapidly helped refine hatred Gu. Hatred Gu activates and raises Qing Chou’s strength, especially its offensive killer moves. For a time Spectral Soul is suppressed. ^{ch. 2030}

Spectral Soul spits a small mouthful of black qi that slows Qing Chou’s movements and attacks. He turns into countless phantoms around it, and Qing Chou, despite hatred Gu, loses its target. His main body appears on its back and drives his forearm into it. Qing Chou shivers in extreme pain and fires immortal killer moves one after another. It falls and rolls on the ground, a huge pit forming, but cannot shake him off. ^{ch. 2030}

Qin Ding Ling sees that Spectral Soul is trying to refine Qing Chou. Wu Shuai’s Dragon Palace sends out dreamy light smoke, and Spectral Soul stops and retreats. Qing Chou is freed but very weak, and it almost falls to the ground. The narration says his method also extracted its strength, and his aura rose. ^{ch. 2030}

The narration says Qing Chou with a quasi-rank nine hatred Gu reached the battle strength of Fang Yuan, Duke Long and Feng Jiu Ge during the fate war. It was still ineffective against Spectral Soul, who created soul beasts and has methods to counter immemorial soul beasts. Once he was prepared, Qing Chou was easily countered. ^{ch. 2030}

Qing Chou recovers some of the strength it lost, and the rank nine aura of its hatred Gu grows denser though incomplete. It shouts that it wants Spectral Soul dead and chases him. The narration gives the order of the chase: Dragon Palace at the front, then Spectral Soul, then Qing Chou, then Qi Sea Ancestor with the Heavenly Court immortals. ^{ch. 2031}

Qing Chou catches up with wind and lightning around it. Its eyes are blood red and its face is distorted, and it cares only about Spectral Soul. The rank nine aura of its hatred Gu grows denser again. ^{ch. 2032}

It growls, and a green-black human-faced lightning ball flies from its throat. The ball dodges Spectral Soul’s whip of black fog, then self-detonates and sends him flying far away. The explosion also damages Dragon Palace and Myriad Year Flying Warship. Qing Chou endures the aftermath and keeps approaching him. ^{ch. 2032}

The narration says Qing Chou wants only revenge on Spectral Soul and will not cooperate with Fang Yuan. Almost all its moves also implicate Dragon Palace, so at times Fang Yuan has to fight it too. Spectral Soul forces it away and returns to Dragon Palace. ^{ch. 2032}

Fang Yuan judges that Qing Chou is not being logical and ignores its own condition. He says Spectral Soul made use of this many times. He also judges that without wisdom, no amount of strength keeps it from being toyed with. ^{ch. 2033}

Qing Chou crashes through the qi wall and leaves immemorial white heaven for Central Continent. A Pure Dream Reality Seeker Physique body self-detonates into a dream realm, and Qing Chou is trapped in it. The aura of hatred Gu bursts from its body, and it breaks free. An onlooker cites The Legends of Ren Zu as saying hatred has no dreams. Fang Yuan wonders whether the dream realm was simply too small against rank nine hatred Gu. ^{ch. 2033}

Spectral Soul appears on its back, but a qi path killer move from Qi Sea Ancestor interrupts him. Qing Chou moves away and spits another human-faced lightning ball. Qi Sea Ancestor asks Qin Ding Ling whether Heavenly Court can capture Qing Chou again. She replies that the best opportunity is lost and Heavenly Court must find another to forcefully refine hatred Gu. Qing Chou follows Spectral Soul when he turns on the Heavenly Court immortals. ^{ch. 2033}

Spectral Soul attacks Qing Chou again, and it is soon suppressed. Seeing Spectral Soul try again to extract Qing Chou’s strength, Qin Ding Ling shouts for Qi Sea Ancestor to stop him. Demon Immortal Qi Jue blocks Qi Sea Ancestor’s path. ^{ch. 2034}

Spectral Soul reaches Qing Chou’s back and attacks, and its strength is absorbed. The narration says that as an immemorial soul beast, even with the quasi-rank nine hatred Gu, Qing Chou was completely countered by him. Its aura falls greatly, and he kicks it toward the ground. He then goes after Fang Yuan, having got rid of Qing Chou. ^{ch. 2034}

Qing Chou lies unconscious in a pit after Spectral Soul sent it crashing to the ground. Its memory this time is very clear and complete, unlike its usual fragments. The memory shows Qing clan Gu Immortals gathered over the shattered life tablet Gu of Qing Heng. They blame Ming You for his death and call for revenge. ^{ch. 2035}

Hatred surges through Qing Chou, and it wakes with bloodshot eyes. It roars the names Ming You and Spectral Soul. The rank nine aura of hatred Gu is denser, and the Gu lets it locate Spectral Soul easily. Qing Chou flies after Spectral Soul and ignores Fairy Zi Wei and her group. ^{ch. 2035}

The narration says karma divine tree gives Qing Chou an intense connection to Spectral Soul and everyone related to him. Fang Yuan’s Qi Sea clone is relieved to see it leave. Earlier in Western Desert, Qing Chou chased Fang Yuan even in his familiar face disguise. Now that Spectral Soul and Fang Yuan are enemies, it no longer goes after him. ^{ch. 2035}

Qing Chou catches up in the sky, its hair disheveled and its expression twisted with insanity. A pair of bat wings forms at the corner of its tortoise shell. The narration says they resemble the wings of the green claw ghost winged lion. It uses the immortal killer move Qing Mouth, and a huge green-black hole devours Spectral Soul in one mouthful. It swallows, and a ball flows down its snake neck into its stomach. ^{ch. 2040}

Qing Chou roars that the move was left behind to deal with him. Memories surface of Qing clan’s second supreme elder, who created Qing mouth with inspiration from his green claw ghost winged lion and set out to kill Ming You. Qing Chou weeps and says it has finally taken revenge for them. ^{ch. 2040}

Spectral Soul then speaks from inside its stomach. Qing Chou feels intense bitterness, then hunger and a sense of loss. It gags, can no longer fly and falls toward the ground. Spectral Soul says he let Qing mouth hit him on purpose. ^{ch. 2040}

A flashback shows young Ming You killing a green claw ghost winged lion from inside its stomach with the food path killer moves Bitter Taste and Swallow Loss. Back in the present, Qing Chou rolls in the air and finally vomits out Spectral Soul. He reaches its back and stabs five blackened fingers into it. Qing Chou’s strength surges again, and he quickly absorbs all of it. ^{ch. 2041}

Qing Chou struggles intensely and uses killer moves to attack itself in a frenzy. Spectral Soul endures the attacks and keeps draining its strength. Its struggles grow weaker. He judges that the hatred Gu in its body is nearing completion. ^{ch. 2042}

The narration says soul beasts exist because Spectral Soul created soul path. It adds that he can make soul beasts loyal and extract their strength to restore himself. The narration counts Dragon Palace, Qing Chou and Qi Sea Ancestor as three entities with the world’s top tier battle strength, yet even on one side they cannot turn the situation around. ^{ch. 2042}

Qin Ding Ling fears Spectral Soul may kill Fang Yuan, defeat Qi Sea and absorb Qing Chou. She thinks it a mistake to use Qing Chou, strong as it is, against Spectral Soul. When Dragon Palace breaks free, Spectral Soul must abandon the heavy Qing Chou. The narration says he was only a bit of time away from completely subduing it. ^{ch. 2043}

Qing Chou roars and tries to chase Dragon Palace, but it is powerless and is left in the dust within a few breaths. Spectral Soul regrets having weakened it so far. He thinks that with some strength left it would disrupt Fang Yuan and Qi Sea Ancestor’s cooperation. He still judges that completely subduing Qing Chou would have almost certainly won him the fight. ^{ch. 2044} Qing Chou later rejoins the battle against Spectral Soul and is used by him instead: he moves around it, its eyes turn red, and its furious attacks stop Qi Sea Ancestor’s. ^{ch. 2045}

In the chase through Earth Abyss, the narration places Qing Chou in the second group of pursuers with Qi Sea Ancestor and Demon Immortal Qi Jue, behind Spectral Soul. ^{ch. 2046} The chasing immortals lose sight of Qing Chou and the others. ^{ch. 2047}

Inside Lu Wei Yin’s illusory sand shifting shadow battlefield, Qing Chou appears and disappears in the sandstorm. The narration says it is still insane, with a very dense rank nine aura. It shouts that it wants Spectral Soul dead. Spectral Soul’s heart jumps when he senses the aura. ^{ch. 2048}

Qing Chou, Qi Sea Ancestor and Demon Immortal Qi Jue take turns against Spectral Soul, and the narration says all three, and even Lu Wei Yin, can attack him at the same time. The narration says Spectral Soul once used the rage-ridden Qing Chou, but here Lu Wei Yin can relocate it. Lu Wei Yin swaps opponents whenever Spectral Soul gains ground. ^{ch. 2048}

Spectral Soul looks to Qing Chou as a way to create an opening. When he shows signs of targeting it, Lu Wei Yin uses the battlefield killer move to teleport it away. Qing Chou targets only its greatest enemy. The narration says it knows Lu Wei Yin is helping it, so it does not attack him. It also fights without regard for its life and creates huge problems for Qi Jue. ^{ch. 2049}

Spectral Soul’s soul explosion of more than ten immemorial soul beasts also injures Qing Chou. The greater its pain, the more maniacal it becomes. It attacks Spectral Soul again, and Wu Shuai and Qi Sea Ancestor follow so he cannot absorb its strength. ^{ch. 2050}

Qing Chou shouts at Spectral Soul to die and approaches from the left. Three hundred pairs of arms of Giant Spectral Soul resist it, and it advances without regard for its life. He shapes his fingers into spears that counter soul beasts, and a hundred pairs of arms stab into its body. Green-black blood oozes out and dyes the battlefield. ^{ch. 2051}

Spectral Soul says soul beasts have no blood, but its body seems to have changed under hatred Gu’s refinement. He says he will dissect it after the battle. The narration says he is confident of taking down Qing Chou. ^{ch. 2051}

Qing Chou growls in pain, and black smoke rises from its whole body, much like Spectral Soul’s. It shoots more than ten human-faced soul balls covered in lightning at him. The narration compares all these attacks on the giant to wind blowing on a tree. His arms push deeper, and Qing Chou, unable to break free, bleeds like a river. ^{ch. 2051}

Qing Chou rams toward Spectral Soul and is easily dodged. After Spectral Soul is badly injured, Qing Chou attacks again, roaring at Ming You that it will kill him. The narration says its eyes burst and bleed green-black blood, and hundreds of holes cover its body. ^{ch. 2055}

Giant Spectral Soul calls Qing Chou an amazing creation. The narration says a qualitative change has occurred within its body. Facing its attack, he becomes overjoyed, because absorbing its strength has aided his recovery. ^{ch. 2055}

As memories surface, its vision blurs. In the memory, young Ming You slays thousands at Qing oasis while the clan’s few remaining Gu Immortals hide in the depths of their headquarters. In the memory, Qing clan’s first supreme elder says Divine Bean Palace is the cause of the clan’s predicament. He proposes a killer move made by himself and the second supreme elder and names it Qing Chou, calling it the revenge of Qing clan. The clan decides to use it to refine Divine Bean Palace. ^{ch. 2056}

The move does not fully refine the palace and instead resonates with it. Jade green light devours the Qing clan immortals and their headquarters across ten thousand li. In the present, its memories fully return and it understands the voices. The narration says hatred Gu had kept its mind in chaos ever since it sensed Spectral Soul in this battle. The voices say only one thing: Qing Chou, remember your purpose, your burden and your enemies. It cries that this is the revenge of Qing clan, a killer move nurtured for a hundred thousand years. ^{ch. 2056}

Its hatred Gu breaks through and becomes a genuine rank nine Immortal Gu. Jade green light surrounds it, and it stands upright as a giant in armor with a shield and a spear. Spectral Soul changes killer moves and mostly blocks its first strike. Its hair then tangles into a huge tree: the karma divine tree killer move. The spear pierces through Giant Spectral Soul from front to back. ^{ch. 2056}

The narration says Spectral Soul lost. He roars for everyone to die with him and self-detonates. ^{ch. 2056}

Spectral Soul’s self-detonation destroys the illusory sand shifting shadow battlefield. Qing Chou, which had turned into a giant, is blown into three pieces and lands on the ground. ^{ch. 2057}

Lu Wei Yin says Qing Chou’s core is hatred Gu, formed through Divine Bean Palace, and that Qing Chou and the palace are extremely close. He says Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable meant to merge Qing Chou, Divine Bean Palace and Emperor City into Divine Emperor City during the fate war. The narration says the plan called for Qing Chou to hold rank nine hatred Gu and pseudo venerable battle strength. It would help Duke Long guard Heavenly Court. It could even exterminate Spectral Soul’s damaged soul. Once driven away, Qing Chou stopped nurturing hatred Gu inside the palace, so in the fate war it lacked the expected strength and stood apart from the palace. At Book Mountain, Fairy Ming Hao calls on Genesis Lotus’ will inside Divine Emperor City. A jade light spiral opens, and a giant in golden green armor flies out. It holds a shield in its left hand and a spear in its right. The giant recites a verse that ends with Qing Chou existing under the karma divine tree. The narration names it the legendary immemorial desolate beast Qing Chou. ^{ch. 2180}

The narration says Qing Chou killed Spectral Soul in the pursuit battle but was blown to bits by his self-detonation. Divine Emperor City retrieved the pieces of flesh and revived it. Its form is no longer turtle shell, tiger claws, dragon tail, snake neck, bat wings and human head. It is now a fully armored and equipped warrior. ^{ch. 2180}

Qing Chou slams down before Zhan Bu Du, and its spear pierces the air. He punches its helmet, and the blow drives it backward onto the middle of the mountain. A giant tree forms above its head and absorbs his punches, then returns them as countless fists. Zhan Bu Du is forced back, but after a few rounds he gains the upper hand. He reasons that Divine Emperor City has completely subdued Qing Chou and made it general of the divine bean soldiers. ^{ch. 2180}

The narration says Qing Chou could not win against his genuine pseudo venerable battle strength. Heavenly Court wanted only to stall for time. ^{ch. 2180}

Fang Yuan’s Profound Frost House and Red River Pavilion go to help Zhan Bu Du fight Qing Chou. Qing Chou chases Zhan Bu Du relentlessly as he climbs Book Mountain. The two Immortal Gu Houses obstruct it, so it cannot move fast enough to stop him. ^{ch. 2181}

Qi Sea Ancestor fires his Hu elevation killer move, a thick qi beam, at Book Mountain. With the beam less than a hundred steps from the mountain, a golden green giant appears. Qing Chou raises its shield and blocks the beam. The beam sends it crashing into Book Mountain and leaves a pit hundreds of feet deep. ^{ch. 2182}

Its shield is destroyed, and a see-through hole opens in its chest. Qing Chou does not move. Divine Emperor City opens a spiral and sucks Qing Chou’s dead body back into it. The narration says that one move killed Qing Chou, defeated Fairy Yu Xiu and destroyed an Immortal Gu House. ^{ch. 2182}

The narration says Qing Chou was killed by Qi Sea Ancestor’s Hu elevation. It adds that even if revived, Qing Chou would need a long time to recuperate in Divine Emperor City and could not join the battle. Without Qing Chou, and with Star Constellation Immortal Venerable unable to use her full strength, Zhan Bu Du again becomes a headache for Heavenly Court. ^{ch. 2191}
