She identifies the ancient battle formation the fleeing group used to escape, Omni-directional Travel, and concludes it cannot be stopped because it uses people as its formation cores and the group is already past the regional wall. ^{ch. 1090}

After Gu Immortal Granny Sha finishes repairing Heaven Overseeing Tower, Fairy Zi Wei goes up it with Duke Long, and her eyes redden when Granny Sha dies at the top. She says Fang Yuan, Ying Wu Xie, Purple, and others are too crafty to find, because the regional walls make it too hard to deduce their locations. ^{ch. 1335}

Watching Zuo Ye Hui absorb two blasts of Heaven Overseeing Tower’s Fate Vanquish and recover each time, Fairy Zi Wei has a grim expression and notes that the move cannot be used consecutively, since rank nine Immortal Gu Fate still carries injuries of its own. ^{ch. 1359}

Fairy Zi Wei activates Star Constellation Chessboard against Fang Yuan’s super Gu formation; her human body is assimilated into the chessboard’s starlight as she infiltrates the formation, and she urges Fang Yuan to admit his mistake and surrender. ^{ch. 1360}

Star Constellation Chessboard had always sat in Heavenly Court’s treasury, and once Duke Long woke he held the authority to take it out and let Fairy Zi Wei use it; with it she feels her deduction ability rise by many times, though she still lacks the clues to find Fang Yuan. Star Constellation Chessboard’s heaven’s will then appears before her in the form of Star Constellation Immortal Venerable, and Duke Long explains that Star Constellation Immortal Venerable sacrificed herself long ago to assimilate with heaven’s will, leaving Fairy Zi Wei shocked. The heaven’s will orders that only she and Duke Long go to Southern Border to eliminate Shadow Sect, keeping Heavenly Court’s hibernating Gu Immortals in reserve for a purpose it does not explain to her. ^{ch. 1365}

Fairy Zi Wei tells Duke Long that Southern Border’s Yi clan Immortal Gu House Bay Pavilion ran into Fang Yuan’s group but could not stop him, and that although Fang Yuan checked himself and found something amiss, her investigative killer move, activated with Star Constellation Chessboard using a method Star Constellation Immortal Venerable once used, still holds. ^{ch. 1379}

Fairy Zi Wei sends Wu Yong an information path mortal Gu exposing that Wu Yi Hai is Fang Yuan and detailing Shadow Sect’s members and their ancient battle formation Omni-directional Travel. The letter carries no words of threat or negotiation, leaving Wu Yong unable to hold anything against her while she uses his fury to hunt Fang Yuan for her. ^{ch. 1382}

Narration states that with the use of Star Constellation Chessboard, Fairy Zi Wei could be said to be among the top three wisdom path experts of the present era. In the same chapter, Duke Long instructs her that Fang Yuan, Giant Sun, and Red Lotus must all be removed to receive and guide Great Dream Immortal Venerable, Heavenly Court’s coming fourth Immortal Venerable. ^{ch. 1384}

Holding Star Constellation Chessboard in Heavenly Court, Fairy Zi Wei watches Feng Jiu Ge’s fight against Wu Yong and mutters that it is about time. Feng Jiu Ge’s earlier meeting with Fang Yuan had been planned by Star Constellation heaven’s will and arranged with Heavenly Court’s help so that it looked like chance while he chased a theft path Immortal Gu; Feng Jiu Ge was kept in the dark, and Heavenly Court itself did not know why the will wanted it. ^{ch. 1392}

Fairy Zi Wei deduces a huge chance that Thousand Transformations Ancestor is injured and weakened, possibly even dead, and sends two Heavenly Court Gu Immortals to probe him, reasoning that even a failed probe would sow useful internal strife in Western Desert ahead of the five regions chaotic war. ^{ch. 1423}

Sent alone after Fang Yuan and the rest, Lord Huang Shi carries a defensive killer move Fairy Zi Wei gave him that blocks Ying Wu Xie’s soul path senses; narration confirms she had prepared this measure in advance against lead soul into dream. ^{ch. 1433}

As the tributary of the River of Time ambush drags on with no sign of Fang Yuan, Fairy Zi Wei feels something has gone wrong.
