Omni-directional Travel

Fang Yuan has just found Ying Wu Xie and the others. Ying Wu Xie shouts for the ancient battle formation. The other three immortals act with him and the four vanish. Liu Qing Yu is left behind. Fang Yuan is seeing Omni-directional Travel for the first time. The formation that let Ying Wu Xie and the rest escape Heavenly Court’s Gu Immortals has an incredible effect. ^{ch. 1151}

Ying Wu Xie considers abandoning Hei Lou Lan to break Fang Yuan’s luck-based tracking, but gives up the thought because losing her would cost the group the use of Omni-directional Travel. ^{ch. 1153}

While Fang Yuan is still battering the Gu formation that shields them, Ying Wu Xie’s group leaves by Omni-directional Travel and arrives at Eastern Sea’s blue water regional wall, and he breaks the formation soon after only to find nobody inside it. Once they enter the wall the ancient battle formation cannot be used and they can only move by themselves, because using Gu worms or immortal killer moves inside a regional wall shakes their immortal apertures and the battle formation would cause a far greater backlash. Ying Wu Xie also weighs that Omni-directional Travel is not a method that can be used repeatedly and needs some time before it can be used again. ^{ch. 1253}

Northern Plains is enormous and Snowy Mountain blessed land lies at its far north-west, so even holding Omni-directional Travel, which cannot be used continuously, Ying Wu Xie’s group is caught up by Fang Yuan once again while hurrying there. ^{ch. 1265}

By the time he raids Eastern Sea, Fang Yuan holds a copy of this ancient battle formation himself, originally flawed and not very useful until he modifies it greatly, and uses it to move himself and three other immortals from dragonfish sea area to white crane sea area. ^{ch. 1487}
