Overturning Heaven and Earth is a Heavenly Court killer move that swaps sky and land in cube pieces to trap a target and block fast escape methods.
When Fang Yuan tries to break out in Myriad Year Flying Warship, Wan Zi Hong activates the killer move overturning heaven and earth. The sky above turns into boundless land so the warship charges toward ground; sky and land keep interchanging like a Rubik’s cube, and the firm ground acts like an impenetrable wall. Wan Zi Hong says Heavenly Court specially designed the move for Fang Yuan, and that they first brought it out against Thousand Transformations Ancestor to test it in real battle. ch. 1874
Heavenly Court needs to restrain Fang Yuan’s escape methods after losing fixed space Gu; the move restrains both Fixed Immortal Travel and Omni-directional Travel. Four Immortal Gu Houses maintain the activation while four rank eight Gu Immortals supply the true battle strength. Fang Yuan judges that the move cuts a patch of sky and land into countless cubes that constantly change position, that it is a killer move rather than a battlefield killer move so activation is extremely fast, and that its effect transforms the sky and land of an area while forming a trapping battlefield. Compared with battlefield killer moves it has flaws, and he believes breaking or interfering with its essence would let him escape once he deduces that essence. While Heavenly Court maintains overturning heaven and earth, it holds the initiative against Thousand Transformations Ancestor and Fang Yuan together. When Fang Yuan flees in Myriad Year Flying Warship, Heavenly Court controls the move to obstruct his path and help Thousand Transformations Ancestor chase him. ch. 1875
House weakness
The four Immortal Gu Houses that maintain overturning heaven and earth are the biggest weakness; dealing with or disrupting them leaves severe loopholes and the field cannot be kept up. When Fang Di Chang leads Divine Bean Palace and Western Desert allies against those houses, the killer move is severely disrupted and cannot be sustained perfectly, and Fang Yuan escapes through the exposed route. Thousand Transformations Ancestor is forced back into overturning heaven and earth and trapped again. ch. 1876
