Central Continent talk groups him with other demonic or lone champions the ten ancient sects recruit to retain authority; love with Fairy Mo Yao reforms him from the demonic path, and Spirit Affinity House recruits him. ^{ch. 854} Fairy Bai Qing takes a sect mission to investigate him from Feng Jiu Ge’s clue, and finds Falling Heavenly River’s source as the place he perished while facing tribulation toward rank nine, with Mo Yao dying beside him. ^{ch. 955} Two myriad tribulations were behind him, and he was a heavy favorite for a sword path Immortal Venerable’s seat; his third tribulation nearly killed him, and a second attempt at it did. ^{ch. 1007} A legend Fang Yuan recalls credits Bo Qing with creating the immortal killer move myriad sword tribulation, using flying sword Immortal Gu as the core to send ten thousand swords down like rain. ^{ch. 1044} Fang Yuan recalls Bo Qing’s dominance over Central Continent, and takes that as a measure of flying sword Immortal Gu’s power. ^{ch. 1046} Sword path’s short history is tied to him as its noteworthy figure beside Blood Sea Ancestor for blood path. ^{ch. 1064}

After Feng Jiu Ge’s death, at a Spirit Affinity House meeting over his final clue, a Gu Immortal recalls that Qin Bai Sheng’s five finger fist heart sword was a killer move Bo Qing created and his own signature move. ^{ch. 954}

An immortal zombie floats in light at the source of Falling Heavenly River. His eyes are closed. He looks exactly as he did in life, still seeming full of vitality. He has sharp brows, a high nose, jade green hair, and an upright back. ^{ch. 959} Sword escape Gu, shaped like a golden bee and used for movement, is the fifth Immortal Gu Fang Yuan draws out of him while he slumbers. ^{ch. 995} A recorded case has him chase a fleeing Gu Immortal with it at rank seven, then end the fight with his immortal killer move sword rampage, which had sword escape Immortal Gu among its cores. ^{ch. 995}

Starlight pierces the incomplete Gu formation Bai Cang Shui is setting up to seal Falling Heavenly River and strikes the immortal zombie, whose eyes open as countless flashes of sword light burst out and turn the world white. In the image Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord is watching, bits and pieces of Gu Immortal corpses lie everywhere and the head of the Heavenly Court Gu Immortal Bai Cang Shui rolls away with her eyes wide open, dead. Seven Star Child lands with Song Zi Xing and Yu Mu Chun and greets the immortal zombie as Azure, and the immortal zombie’s eyes shine with ruthlessness as a sword light shoots out and slices Seven Star Child in half, against which even his own immortal zombie body is useless. The other two cry out that Envoy Azure has killed Vice Envoy Blue, then that he is not Envoy Azure at all, since his mind is filled with heaven’s will and another person’s remnant soul lives inside his body; he turns to them expressionless, and what they see in his eyes is no killing intent but the unfeeling and impartial nature of the way of heaven. ^{ch. 960}

Bo Qing was known as a pseudo-Immortal Venerable, publicly recognized in his time as the strongest person under rank nine venerables in the five regions. Facing Song Zi Xing and Yu Mu Chun at the bottom of Falling Heavenly River, the immortal zombie kills Song Zi Xing with a sword light, then points at Yu Mu Chun, who takes out an Immortal Gu that awakens the remnant soul inside the zombie body and pushes heaven’s will out of its mind. That remnant soul is Mo Yao’s; awake again, she asks what to do next, and with Seven Star Child and Song Zi Xing both dead, Yu Mu Chun settles for attacking Combat Immortal Sect instead of Heavenly Lotus Sect. ^{ch. 962}

Trapped with Yu Mu Chun inside the Immortal Gu House Illusion Garden, the immortal zombie battles Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord, Bi Chen Tian and Lian Jiu Sheng with sword path might the three cannot match, so five more Heavenly Court Gu Immortals leave their rest as reinforcements. The eight of them form an ancient battle formation, and after over a month they kill Yu Mu Chun and annihilate Mo Yao’s remnant soul. The sword light in Bo Qing’s eyes dies out in an instant and the body goes motionless like a stone statue, since Mo Yao’s remnant soul, not Bo Qing’s, was what moved it. ^{ch. 966}

Immortal zombie Bo Qing rises from Falling Heavenly River beside Envoy Blue of Shadow Sect, who is immortal zombie Seven Star Child, along with Song Zi Xing and Yu Mu Chun, says he has lost many Immortal Gu and his battle strength is reduced, and asks what comes next. This differs from the previous life, in which Seven Star Child and Song Zi Xing had died at Bo Qing’s hands, while now both stand alive beside him. Perhaps, the narration offers, it is because Fang Yuan used Mo Yao’s fake will to plunder Bo Qing’s immortal zombie body. ^{ch. 997}

Word of the Heavenly Lotus Sect battle reaches Fang Yuan, who realizes this life has already diverged from his previous one: in the previous life Bo Qing had died and the soul inside him was destroyed by Heavenly Court’s Gu Immortals, but this life immortal zombie Bo Qing is still alive. He has also lost wisdom sword Gu, once his trump card against wisdom path methods when he was alive, and without it he fights even more cautiously and passively. ^{ch. 1000}

Volunteering to move first, Bo Qing brings out the Immortal Gu House Sacred Feather City, which had been hiding inside the ten extreme immortal zombie lifeless formation without Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord sensing it, and sends it crashing down on Yi Tian Mountain where Fang Yuan is suppressing the Great Strength True Martial immortal zombie. Fang Yuan activates Graceful Chaotic Duel Stage with Giant Sun’s rank nine immortal essence, and Sacred Feather City is ruthlessly sent flying in the blast: Fang Yuan defeats Bo Qing in one move. ^{ch. 1003}

When a grand tribulation of twenty-two destiny light deer charges the ten extreme immortal zombie lifeless formation and a gap opens that lets half the herd inside, immortal zombie Bo Qing stands out and activates five finger fist heart sword and other famous sword path killer moves with unstoppable power. Most of the light deer lose their lives to his sword lights, and his perseverance lets Shadow Sect survive that second wave of grand tribulations. ^{ch. 1008}

Immortal zombie Bo Qing had also once been one of Spectral Soul Demon Venerable’s split souls, but only the zombie body remains: the remnant soul inside it is not Bo Qing’s own but Mo Yao’s, and because she would be of no use inside the ten extreme formation, fit only to be refined as immortal material, she stays behind instead of sacrificing herself. Alongside Ying Wu Xie, the zombie charges Fang Yuan’s group; his sword light beheads Fairy Li Shan, Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s Man as Before restores her, and a second strike of his sword qi turns her into a pile of flesh. ^{ch. 1011}

He is a split soul of Spectral Soul Demon Venerable, which Heavenly Court’s Gu Immortals cry out when the truth surfaces. ^{ch. 1016} Among the seven first generation split souls he is the one called Azure. ^{ch. 1020} Sixth Hair later says Bo Qing failed in the past for being a split soul of Spectral Soul Demon Venerable’s main body, which heaven’s will was unwilling to see become a venerable again. ^{ch. 1076} Sixth Hair guesses that Fang Yuan has used sword escape Immortal Gu, and takes it for Bo Qing’s Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1136}

Flying Sword Immortal Gu was Bo Qing’s most used Immortal Gu, and he built many immortal killer moves around it as their core to answer different situations. ^{ch. 1038}

Before the battle of Yi Tian Mountain, when immortal zombie Bo Qing awakened, he shot out countless sword lights from under Falling Heavenly River; one landed on a Central Continent mountain and cut it in two, the shape becoming known as Broken Sword Valley. Sword path dao marks that sword light carved into the valley slowly produce wild sword path Gu worms, drawing Gu Masters there to search for treasure. ^{ch. 1059}

Qi Jue grotto heaven holds Demon Immortal Qi Jue’s true inheritance. Qi Jue stands on the same level as Bo Qing, and even Hei Fan pales beside that Demon Immortal. ^{ch. 1319}

Fighting Feng Jiu Ge, Fang Yuan cannot match yang pass tune’s teleportation with the ancient sword dragon’s straight-line speed and sword escape Immortal Gu alone; the one killer move that could answer it is the sword path movement killer move held in Bo Qing’s inheritance. ^{ch. 1425}
