Yu Mu Chun

He wears a black robe that covers his entire body, and a mask on his face. He wears nearly the same thing as Fang Yuan. Fang Yuan reaches the finals against him. Yu Mu Chun is a true refinement path quasi-great grandmaster. Fang Yuan knows he cannot win even with advance knowledge of the task, and forfeits. Yu Mu Chun takes first place. ^{ch. 858}

After the Convention he enters True Yang mountain range. The hairy man Ben Duo Yi follows him across thirty mountains. Yu Mu Chun’s voice is deep and grave. He says he once gave Ben Duo Yi a few pointers because the junior was wiser than ordinary hairy men, and that they are not fated to be master and disciple. He has escaped from fate, and association with him will bring harm. He floats into the air and begins to refine an Immortal Gu as a parting lesson, without first conditioning his body and mind. ^{ch. 859}

He floats in the air between a forest of tornadoes. The winds blow his bronze mask away, revealing an aged face which is full of hair. He laughs loudly, his body shakes, the black robe tears, and the pieces of fabric fly away, showing a muscular body covered entirely in brown hair. He is a hairy man. His eyes shine with brilliance. His hair sways as he stands in the air and works. ^{ch. 860}

He says hairy men are born with refinement path dao marks, and that refinement path originated from hairy men. Human isolation techniques are a wrong path for them. He teaches nature Gu refinement: refine while surrounded by nature, choose ground through astrology and earth veins, and use hidden dao marks in heaven and earth. He is two hundred and forty-six years old. He started feeding Gu worms at three, was in close contact with them at ten, and at sixteen used human techniques to refine rank five Gu with a ninety percent success rate. At twenty-two he judged that a wrong path and began again in nature. The method reached minor success at a hundred and thirty-eight and great success at his present age. He reports a forty percent success rate on rank six Immortal Gu and a five percent success rate on rank seven Immortal Gu. Limited by his cultivation level, he has not tried rank eight Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 860}

He uses the refinement path immortal killer move wind grind to process an earthly limit astral qi pearl, then slumbering lightning python with a gigantic tornado wind pillar. He collects the refined Immortal Gu and leaves his refinement path inheritance with Ben Duo Yi. The method can be studied, but a Gu Master who is not yet a Gu Immortal cannot use it to refine Gu, because it attracts heavenly tribulations and earthly calamities. ^{ch. 861} Ben Duo Yi is later taught the nature Gu refinement technique by Gu Immortal Yu Mu Chun. ^{ch. 2064}

After the refinement he conceals his tracks and travels deep into True Yang mountain range. He enters a blood-red spatial crack and walks a familiar path through a poisonous swamp to Song Zi Xing, who is healing in a blood pool with only a head and over half a chest left. They are already acquainted. He used a success dao mark from the Infallible inheritance with his nature Gu refinement techniques to refine a rule path Immortal Gu. Those success dao marks are closely related to refinement path, unlike ordinary success dao marks. ^{ch. 862} The rule path Immortal Gu he refined in Central Continent is named Become Real. ^{ch. 984}

He knows that fate Immortal Gu was not completely destroyed. Fang Yuan, reborn from five hundred years in the future, did not know Fate existed. Before this meeting Yu Mu Chun passed his refinement path inheritance to a talented hairy man junior. He tells Song Zi Xing this, and the narration treats that trust as unparalleled. He asks to research Song Zi Xing’s blood fetus after seeing blood demon body separation developed to that extent. ^{ch. 863}

After immortal zombie Bo Qing opens his eyes at the riverbed, Seven Star Child lands first, followed by Song Zi Xing and Yu Mu Chun. Bo Qing’s sword light kills Seven Star Child. Song Zi Xing and Yu Mu Chun cannot escape a pseudo-Immortal Venerable and can only await their deaths. ^{ch. 960}

They are drenched in sweat. When Bo Qing points at him, Yu Mu Chun takes out an Immortal Gu. The remnant soul inside the zombie is Mo Yao. The Immortal Gu awakens her and pushes heaven’s will out of the zombie’s mind. Yu Mu Chun is full of cold sweat. Seven Star Child and Song Zi Xing are already corpses, so the three cannot use their teleporting immortal killer move. He settles for attacking Combat Immortal Sect and gives up Heavenly Lotus Sect. ^{ch. 962}

Sword light dissipates and reveals Bo Qing’s immortal zombie body and Yu Mu Chun. He names Illusion Garden as Heavenly Lotus Sect’s Immortal Gu House, built on illusion path over three hundred years earlier by Illusion Demon Immortal Huang Xiao. He says Illusion Demon Immortal has already died, and that a trap this stealthy implies a high-cultivation controller. His eyes shine with sharp radiance. Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord, Bi Chen Tian, and Lian Jiu Sheng control the house together, combining three rank eights to trap them. ^{ch. 963}

Heavenly Court sends five more Gu Immortals as reinforcements. The eight form an ancient battle formation, and after over a month they kill Yu Mu Chun and extinguish Mo Yao’s remnant soul. ^{ch. 966}

In this life he stands beside immortal zombie Bo Qing with Envoy Blue of Shadow Sect, who is immortal zombie Seven Star Child, and the blood path demonic immortal Song Zi Xing. Seven Star Child, Song Zi Xing, and Yu Mu Chun activate an immortal killer move that transports the four of them to Central Continent’s north-east region to attack Heavenly Lotus Sect. In the previous life Seven Star Child and Song Zi Xing had died, and Yu Mu Chun alone could not activate that move. ^{ch. 997} Fairy Zi Wei names the transport used when Bo Qing awakened: the ancient battle formation Omni-directional Travel, with Yu Mu Chun, Seven Star Child, and Song Zi Xing among those who teleported from Falling Heavenly River to Heavenly Lotus Sect. ^{ch. 1090}

He is solemn that Heavenly Pool inherits Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable’s healing and recovery to an exaggerated degree: unless it is broken apart in one attack, it can recover any severe losses in a short time. When someone must hold the rear, he volunteers with an indifferent expression, saying Azure, Blue, and Song Zi Xing have higher battle strength and will help the crucial plan more. The other three leave him behind. He looks at the approaching death calmly and with a smile, then falls to the ground as an enormous Gu formation flashes. ^{ch. 1000} Ying Wu Xie says Yu Mu Chun is already dead, and that he has no choice but to give up the hairy man heaven and earth style when refining Fixed Immortal Travel. ^{ch. 1066}
