Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord

At the peak he faces rank nine Fate, a black and white spider with a weak aura and a scarlet wound that almost cuts it in two. Heaven Overseeing Tower is a rank nine Immortal Gu House whose most important core is Fate, left close to destruction after Red Lotus Demon Venerable broke it. He treats restoration as two tasks: the wound on the Gu, and eliminating those who have escaped the judgment of fate. The wall pictures appear because generations of Heavenly Court work have made the dying Gu barely usable. He plans to use the coming Refinement Path Convention so Fate can display fifty percent of its might, and until then he means to eliminate the strongest fate escapees he can reach. ^{ch. 780}

After the win over immortal zombie Bo Qing he is more restless rather than less, and he flies back to Heavenly Court to resume an unfinished deduction inside Heaven Overseeing Tower. Each step now costs double the immortal essence it used to, which he reads as someone stronger deliberately blocking him, so he climbs on. Past his hundredth step the wall goes black, and a month later he reaches the top floor with most of his lifetime’s immortal essence spent. The final wall is black too, except for a pair of human eyes shining in it, cold and full of killing intent, and he is left trembling and soaked in cold sweat. He calls it a crisis that would destroy Heavenly Court if left alone, runs to Floating Maple Cliff and sets off the giant Gu formation whose bell tone wakes Heavenly Court. ^{ch. 966}

He is a wisdom path Gu Immortal in control of Heaven Overseeing Tower. At his level he can use wisdom path as a basis to imitate other paths, and in one case his wisdom path method saves an Immortal Gu that a refinement path great expert had judged beyond saving. ^{ch. 996}

He was formerly a Gu Immortal of Heavenly Lotus Sect, with large numbers of disciples and descendants there. When immortal zombie Bo Qing attacks that sect, he leaves the tower to reinforce it. ^{ch. 997}

At Yi Tian Mountain he deduces that Shadow Sect has obtained a final key immortal zombie, then orders Heavenly Court to activate Heaven Overseeing Tower against the ten extreme immortal zombie lifeless formation. ^{ch. 1004}

Ying Wu Xie later succeeds with the dream path immortal killer move lead soul into dream and sends him into a dream. He has passed one myriad tribulation. Other Heavenly Court Gu Immortals cannot wake him at first and take over the tower while he sleeps. ^{ch. 1009}

The pair of eyes he found watching from the darkness at the top of Heaven Overseeing Tower are Spectral Soul Demon Venerable’s, and that is the identity he had deduced back at Heavenly Court. He knew Spectral Soul meant to escape fate by returning to life, so Heavenly Court moved to break that plan and force him back to Obsession Death Domain before it could finish. ^{ch. 1010}

Under his lead, Heaven Overseeing Tower turns phantom, slips past the encircling ghostly hands, returns to material form and crashes into Spectral Soul’s right head, caving it in. When a hundred of Spectral Soul’s arms shrink to feed the ten extreme formation, he orders them chopped off, and Heaven Overseeing Tower cuts them away. ^{ch. 1012}

He says they have one chance to retaliate: a method that generation after generation of Heaven Overseeing Tower Lords created and kept confidential. He tells them the price for using it. ^{ch. 1017}

Those who stay with him to activate the tower die. Before dying he curses Spectral Soul Demon Venerable. The remaining half of Heaven Overseeing Tower breaks apart. ^{ch. 1018}

He and Granny Sha were of the same generation and had been in a relationship in their younger years. His sacrifice at Yi Tian Mountain alarms her into ending hibernation. With Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord dead, Fairy Zi Wei, as the only remaining wisdom path great grandmaster, is tasked to lead Heavenly Court, and only temporarily. ^{ch. 1069} Sixth Hair later says that Heavenly Court, with Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord as its leader, was heaven’s will’s representative against Shadow Sect. ^{ch. 1075}
