Winds of Assimilation

Winds of assimilation are the number one wind in the world, able to assimilate all things, with few restraining methods. They blow when immortal apertures face destruction. Once the wind gains momentum and enough volume, even rank eight Gu Immortals struggle to resist it, while rank nine Gu Immortals remain beyond its reach no matter how strong it becomes. ^{ch. 637}

When Qin Bai Sheng destroys his immortal aperture without another aperture to hold it, winds of assimilation start blowing. Even a clear breeze makes the mystical space shake with unceasing ripples, and even rank eight Gu Immortals must avoid the wind at all costs. ^{ch. 924} When Lian Jiu Sheng destroys his own immortal aperture inside the rank nine Immortal Gu House Heaven Overseeing Tower, winds of assimilation blow inside that internal space, and Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord and other Gu Immortals spend great effort to quell them quickly before they grow any further. ^{ch. 1005}
