At Star Form blessed land, poisonous blood has already corroded three layers of Gu formations. Fang Yuan takes up earthly limit astral qi, azure astral qi fused atop black soil that constantly converts between the two. It is the most troublesome material he has yet to process. Only four killer moves, the strongest known for immortal materials, slumbering lightning python, reflect snow, muffled thunder stone drum and wind grind, could finish it instantly, and lacking all four he must spend time and effort instead. ch. 861
He leaps into the turtle shell. There he opens his body with the killer move Blood Trace Travel, drawing the poisonous blood into himself. The pain is intense; normal immortal zombies feel none of it, but Fang Yuan does, because he uses Gu worm methods and needs the pain to track the material’s progress. Once the exchange steadies, he swallows the earthly limit astral qi directly, his own flesh body blood refinement technique from his previous life. His blood carries it down in a slow, repeating cycle that melts it at an extremely slow speed. ch. 861
On a True Yang mountain range peak, Yu Mu Chun gathers several tornadoes into one. He feeds it a small, pearl-like material. The tornado weakens briefly, then speeds up and absorbs it fully in fifteen minutes. Ben Duo Yi recognizes it as an earthly limit astral qi pearl, and Yu Mu Chun confirms only a large tornado could process it. Ben Duo Yi asks if the move is wind grind, and Yu Mu Chun says it is. ch. 861
Yu Mu Chun grinds immortal essence stones to dust in the tornadoes. Heaven and earth begin to resonate: the mountains shake, thunder booms, and a calamity approaches as even the tornadoes weaken and shrink. Ben Duo Yi sees dao marks floating around him, mostly a dense tangle of rule path marks. He realizes this ordinary looking mound holds the highest concentration of rule path dao marks, which is why Yu Mu Chun chose it. ch. 861
At the crucial step, Yu Mu Chun laughs, points one finger at the sky and one at the ground, and calls the killer move forth. Gathering lightning forms a huge, dragon-like lightning python, its wild yang curbed by yin into something gentle. This is slumbering lightning python, one of the four refinement path immortal killer moves. Countless tornadoes merge into a gigantic wind pillar, and the python coils slowly around it. Heaven and earth qi burst out, and Ben Duo Yi, struck by an intense sense of danger, asks whether this resembles a Gu Immortal’s own tribulation. Yu Mu Chun confirms the resemblance and calls this a small problem. ch. 861
At Star Form blessed land, Fang Yuan finishes processing all of the earthly limit astral qi into the poisonous blood after three days and nights. The blood, once filling the whole shell, is now under half. ch. 861
Fang Yuan calls for captives. Star Form land spirit tosses in living beasts first. Still not satisfied, he calls for more, and the land spirit adds variant humans: hairy men, rockmen, snowmen, inkmen, eggmen, feathermen and mermen. The prepared human captives go in last, their struggling only sinking them faster and raising the blood’s level. Fang Yuan, unmoved, kicks a struggling elderly Gu Master into the blood’s depths, leaving only his hooked hand above the surface, carrying intense curses and grudges toward Fang Yuan. ch. 861
The blood regains its rim-high volume, and Fang Yuan throws in immortal essence stones by the hundreds without hesitation until it declines again. Seven days later it is nearly dried up. Fang Yuan lifts a completed change form Immortal Gu from the shallow puddle remaining. ch. 861
At True Yang mountain range the tornado pillar and lightning python are gone, the mountains lie partly destroyed, and rain drenches Ben Duo Yi, who mutters that the tribulation is finally over. Yu Mu Chun collects his finished Immortal Gu. He gives Ben Duo Yi an information path Gu worm as his refinement path inheritance, saying he can learn nature Gu refinement technique from it but may only use it once he becomes a Gu Immortal, since it draws heavenly tribulations and earthly calamities. Yu Mu Chun then flies off. Ben Duo Yi, kneeling with shining eyes, shouts that he will not waste it. ch. 861
