Fairy Bai Qing

When Spirit Affinity House confirms Feng Jiu Ge died in Northern Plains’ winds of assimilation, leaving only two words written in blood, first supreme elder gives Fairy Bai Qing the mission to investigate the one clue he left, Bo Qing. ^{ch. 954}

Fairy Bai Qing travels to the source of Falling Heavenly River to investigate Bo Qing’s clue. As a rank seven Gu Immortal she still cannot enter by day, when the river’s momentum is too strong even for rank eight Gu Immortals to resist, so her only chance is to search it at night, when the flow slows enough for a rank seven to barely resist it. ^{ch. 955}

Xu Hao tells Spirit Affinity House’s second supreme elder that Fairy Bai Qing has already advanced to rank seven but concealed it and did not report it, and confirms that before Feng Jiu Ge left for Northern Plains, he had secretly borrowed a time path Immortal Gu to help her advance. ^{ch. 957}

By this time Fairy Bai Qing is a rank seven female immortal of Spirit Affinity House. She tells Feng Jiu Ge she had already read the plan herself: Spirit Affinity House’s signature Immortal Gu is Love and the sect values moving people through love, so Xu Hao probably does not expect Zhao Lian Yun to succeed, and once Feng Jin Huang rejects her others will sympathize with her. When Feng Jiu Ge dismisses Zhao Lian Yun’s kneeling as only a show, Fairy Bai Qing disagrees, pointing to Zhao Lian Yun’s determined and agonized eyes as proof it is not. She reasons that Zhao Lian Yun probably thinks her only hope of saving her lover lies in Feng Jin Huang giving up the fairy contest, and so will not stop kneeling. Narration in the same chapter places her husband’s death inside the Thieving Heaven true inheritance space in the previous life, and states that history changed when Fang Yuan used Spring Autumn Cicada and ended up saving him. ^{ch. 1192}

A recount of Feng Jiu Ge’s challenge years names her the fairy of that generation and states that she moved him with love and turned him into a member of Spirit Affinity House. ^{ch. 1388}

When Feng Jin Huang asks who Duke Long’s first disciple is, Fairy Bai Qing instructs her in a heavy tone that the matter is a taboo she must never raise once she reaches Heavenly Court, and least of all in front of her master. ^{ch. 1442}
